thanks. i just got the scholarship to do the 6-month project management course. i'm looking to stop teaching after 15 years and move into a new career. i wasn't sure where i could go and this video showed me a path forward. in 2022, i will not teach, but have a teaching break/transition period and do the 6-month project management course and gain management experience at a coffee shop. i'm optimistic about non-teaching future. keep sharing your knowledge :)

Some of these Google certifications arent free and USD 100k jobs are possible only when you have some internship or project experience and can produce the proofs in your interviews.

Hi Shivin. The courses are free. Some of the certifications are not. And that is fair, that is not something that is at the moment fully automated. So Google or the examination center need to be able to pay at least for the people who keep this going. As far as the amount is concerned, you are right. That in fact should be the case. In order to make $100k anyone would need to provide a lot of value to their clients or employers. And that type of value comes with practice. But the courses and certifications can be done without experience. That is what I mean in the video. At the same time, I stand by my opinion, making this or more is certainly possible, but not overnight. Making money easy is not a real thing. Being able to provide value for what you get paid is key. And getting to the level where one can provide value does not happen overnight.

Then everybody would do it. Even experienced legit professionals find it hard to get a client on freelancing sites.

I'd say this video is geared more towards or is more beneficial to those with sales or marketing experience, background and/or applicable skills. Again, I DID NOT EXPLICITLY OR IMPLICITLY say that it can't apply to those who are unfamiliar with sales, marketing, or the relative. Which I think is what she was alluding to @2:20 - 2:42, when she says, "if you already have the skills and you want to just get the certification." Not to mention that this opportunity back in the day would cost you thousands, if not, tens of thousands of dollars. But you can do this for 🆓 now online. And yes, I can understand the confusion of the title which can come across to some audiences as a classic marketing strategy. Being someone who has done everything from network marketing to affiliate marketing, insurance, etc., if you know what you're doing going this route, it'll serve the purpose of this video. For others, it can vary. I think the misunderstanding of this video is people's PERCEPTION of "making" $100,000 or more. I believe the video is saying that you CAN make $100,000+. One speaks about the possibility - weakly reflecting the title of this video. The other speaks about a reality - being a number of people's perception.

You're not going to get a 100k job with Google certs. This video should bevyltaken down. It takes years and youust show your work to get hired. If you don't have years of experience you won't break 50k. This video is totally dishonest.
