Share Limit switch wiring diagram with dc motor

What did you do for its self locking. Once it is in extended position holding some good weight, it will start retracting due to weight.

It is slow becouse of bolt

It can be both if you pin a cover to the housing it will not rotate If you free the motor along the shaft axis and pin the nut the motor will pull itself and the shaft while rotating
