    Made the anko and matcha one and turned out great thanks! Just so you know you made a mistake in the description for the matcha one, you wrote "Tbp" but as you say and write in the video it is "Tsp".

    The other day I made your anko recipe (koshi-an) and it was delicious. I have actually not tried anko before, mine was the first one so I can't really compare but it was smooth and tasty. I used it for dorayakis, aswell with some shiro-an with matcha I had made too. Next time I make your anko I will definetely make some ice cream and try the matcha one too, it's so hot in Spain right now that it will sure be welcome. Thanks Taiji!

    I make matcha ice cream a lot. I mix in the powder but I will try liquefying it with warm water next time. Thanks! Isn't there a red bean paste that could be used? or are the adzuki beans better in the ice cream? I will have to look for the black tahini, I do use tahini in some recipes as well. Thanks!

  • @taijiskitchen

    @taijiskitchen

    either way is ok. I am sure, they don't taste that differently. I just find with water is easier. red bean paste or Anko is made from azuki (adzuki) beans, so they are the same thing! you can make the ice cream with regular tahini, but with black sesame taste better, I think.
