HOW TO MAKE HAW MOK PLA | Steamed Fish Curry | ห่อหมกปลา

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Do you have left over red curry paste and not sure what to make with it? Thai Steamed Fish Curry would be great to make! It's called Haw Mok Pla ห่อหมกปลา and it's a curry custard made up of herbs and fish meat, steamed in a bowl made of fragrant banana leaves. It's fun to make and also delicious to eat with jasmine rice!

The ones I ate at Koh Samui Thai village was most delicious. They use pomfet fish and the flavour was authentic. I made my own chilli paste by pounding and I also add prawn and crab meat. I use beetle leave instead of cabbages. I would steam one first to taste the flavour before I do the rest. Thank you for showing us your version.
