Giant Cream Puffs
Learn how to make easy Cream Puffs. These are a classic French dessert filled with sweet cream and dusted with powdered sugar. You haven’t enjoyed a cream puff until you’ve tried one freshly baked.
I have made them with a filling of blackcurrant jam and a delicious blackcurrant mousse. You can easily use another jam or marmalade - but just look at the beautiful blue-purple color that blackcurrants give!
Ingredients:
200 ml of water
75 g of butter
100 g wheat flour
3 eggs
½ Liter whipping cream
150 g of your favorite jam (I use blackcurrant jam)
powdered sugar for decoration
Baking time:
30 -35 min. at 200°C / 400° F
