First of all, great video. I made a few of these for myself and a couple of mates. A few notes. The hole in the 32mm cap for the smaller tube to run through, use a 29mm holesaw. Way safer than a spade bit. Heaps easier too. Next is on the 20mm joiner used as a stopper. I used a handsaw and made a cut longways down it. Made it way easier to slip on. Still glued in place easy. I also bought all my PVC pieces including joiners caps etc. from my local hardware and it was cheaper than Bunnings. But the glues and plugs were cheaper at bunnings. I also made extra nozzles with 25mm tube. This was helpful in picking up the fines out of bedrock potholes. Again great video, just wanted to add some tips.

Another tip. I used a 6mm bolt. You can get mudflap washers which have a 1/4" hole and are wide enough to cover most of the bottom of the plug. Downside to these washers is that they are zinc coated and will rust quicker. The plug won't last forever and the washer can be changed with the plug. Having the washer on the bottom of the plug helps with keeping it rigid and getting better suction.

Another little tip. Try and have all pieces and glue at room temp when doing this. The glue works way better at room temp than in a cold shed like I first did.

The bath plug is a great idea. I’ve made one using a cutout thing, but a good seal was hard to get.
