Hi guys, please help me reach 100k subs by the end of the year by Sharing and Subscribing, many thanks 🙂
Holy hell, that magnet tool is genius! I'll never put them in the wrong way again! Thanx for the video!
I'v never seen or heard of clear bases before, what a brilliant idea. Nice job on the paint finish, that washed-out look really dose carry over the ancient, forgotten dungeon look.

@@MiniatureHobbyist I haven’t seen these bases either but keen to know where you get them. Great board too my dude. Would love to see this played on (especially the home brew)
Every time I try to paint a fantasy character, I think to myself: Yes, that layer of gold on the armor surely adds +5 to defense against criticism ;)
Love the D and D 80's figurines
The bigger size of the board tiles is for the extra room needed for the thicker walls. This still allows for your miniatures to fit down the narrow halls.
Great printing, building, and painting! Good work!
Hell yeah. That's the best way to play Heroquest.❤❤❤❤ Looks absolutely amazing🎉

Looking great
Love the board - great job.
I've been a huge fan of HeroQuest since 1989. I still have my original board game! I would loooove to 3D print a board like this! What a Epic Project! Yours turned out stunning. The video game Demeo on VR reminds me so much of HeroQuest! Can you print these with a FDM printer instead of Resin from The Dragons Rest?

Yes you could use FDM but it would be a longer process is all.

I really enjoy 22 minutes of wafflin', keep it up! Back in my D&D days, I'd use the Heroquest board and Warhammer Quest tiles quite a bit when I DM'd. This would be great to use for that. Now, I have to see if someone made Warhammer Quest 3D tiles. :)
Awesome board, and a great job assembling it

@@MiniatureHobbyist It is! I was gifted a box in 1994 in my birthday. Used to play a lot but after a while I ended up without a group for it. A curious thing, here in Brazil the furniture from the box was in plastic (but it did miss the skulls) but the miniatures were made of cardboard instead of plastic.
YT notices, and timing! love this stuff, even a recap, because some may not want their faces in the videos would be great.

Do they have version of the room tiles that are at the smaller/original scale as the HeroQuest board? I want to save on space as well.
I play a variety of games that use card tiles. My first project is going to be Star Saga Core Set. I just need to go through my library of stls, and choose some tiles. From 2nd Dynasty, Dragons Rest, Project Mobius and others. And then convert the models to use clear bases.
very nice board and mini's
insane nostaligia meet the future!
Id love to see battle reports on that worderful scenery you make. As you already play recording the battles may be more work but could be rewarding. Or keep the raw footage for a future, maybe a how to play killteam sort of thing
“Just had an epiphany ! A great idea came to me. I’ll make a Magnetic tool, coloured Red at one end and Black at the other, with N / S orientated magnets at each end to fit my magnets to bases and tiles. No confusion.” Thanks so much for such a simple idea - it will save me digging out incorrectly fitted magnets - one of my pet hates, haven’t seen this method before, such a simple fix for a common problem, so easy to get them mixed up if you are putting in a lot atvatime (you should Patent one ?)
Amazing video dude! And some great tips! That magnet polarity stick is genius 😅 and yeah agree with there on your comment @18:20 I'm exactly the same. Subbed
I am wondering if some brush on rubber like you use to put rubber on tools would help on the bottom of the doors and other things to keep them from sliding.
I have to ask what printer do you use when you showed that whole tray of soldiers with the flexible spears?
Liveplay, yes please!
Hi i really like the idea of printing a board myself, how much did you scale the original prints down by? also if you printed the boards on a resin printer which oreintation did you print them at? and did you have problems with them not being flat?
The only suggestion I would have made is not epoxying down the tiles to the wood. Maybe making them magnetic to the wood instead? In several of the expansion packs for the boxed board, there are tiles that replace the look of some of the rooms that will no longer work for you since they are designed/sized for the board in the box. I saw you mention things like the rotating room, but it would look cleaner to be flush with the rest of the rooms, instead of sitting on top of your board.
Beautiful work! I miss my heroquest. Sadly, It got destroyed
looks great! I would use it for D@D

Cheers, yeah its a great base for all dungeon games 🙂
Do you think this would print out ok on a pla printer or would you only recommend resin?
I was planning to paint using craft paints to keep my costs down, but your floors look incredible using Speedpaint and I have a big set of them. Did you wind up using a lot of speedpaint to get those results?
I previously didn't rate clear bases now I'm converted.

lol, you look exactly how your voice sounds, great vid👍🏻
Is the Heroquest card holder from Dragon's Rest as well?
Such a big board and this is the tiny one
Hi mate. Where did you get your army painter black cut mat ?. Can you link at all ? Regards Glen
How much did you scale the print down from the original file?
Hi, where do you get the clear bases from?
Where is the best place to get that resin mate I'm in the UK.
Awesome video as always. Just wondering if you have seen GaminGeeks video about The Dragon's Rest for HERO quest. He has modded it a little, to make it more modular, and every room is printed in one piece. That way the tiles can be used both for Hero Quest and DnD😊
Where are your paint racks from?
Now that´s a really nice setup, you got there! :) I´m at printing and painting all the walls by myself at the moment, after that the minis will folow. Dragon´s Rest is an awesome source of parts! But I really love the minis from the old D&D-Cartoon you got there and the big "Wallbox". Is there any Source, where I can find these stls, maybe? Thx in advance

How long did it take to print all the pieces?
For those grates, if you want a rusty look, I recommend Dirty Down Rust :) It is ....amazing. I am one of the lucky ones who has bought a FDM printer, and am printing the same board from Dragon's Rest. The tiles are amazing. :) Also, what color did you use for the slapchop of the tiles? :)

If you like heroquest you should look into warhammer quest or even better league of dungeoneers.
That magnet insertion tool is fucking genius. 3D print those, put magnets in them and sell them
I love hero quest I remember when it first came out . This game got me into miniatures ,I would love to have this game in my collection. Is it an exact replica
I wonder if there's a way of dissolving the bases and not cutting them
Can you give me a hint where I can find the card holder?

I found it on thingiverse, I just typed in card holder and then in tinkercard added the HeroQuest logo that I got from The Dragons Rest 🙂
Todo ese trabajo prefiero comprarlo
Could you show us the 3 D printer in action ?
Been debating Whether to get this game, Warcry player, So seeing a game would be good. But please explain the rules in the game. Seen a few "Battle Reports" and they skip or go to quickly over the rules - which leaves one confused!
Would have done the same thing with board myself, it was definitely too big. Don't play D&D but have miniature board games and have 3d printers.
Do you sell any of your work?
I haven’t played it yet, but it’s on my scope.

Is OP's beard long enough for him to play dwarf? 🤔
I Love the creativity ❤ and hope to find some inspiration here. I just have a very little thing to remark, which is absolutely not to be taken as criticism! But as a non-native English speaker I find it often hard to follow your train of thoughts. I struggle with filler words ("well"), very quick way of talking along😅 and sometimes the sudden jumps of information which makes it sometimes difficult to follow your else very great ideas. I hope this is not taken as offence. Perhaps it could help if you took some notes or structure your explanation before recording a voiceover? But I'm in no way a professional, so please take my wish with a grain of salt. Thank you again for the great inspiration.
Eh? Where were Diana and Sheila's 3D prints??

400 £ for that??? You have to be sick... Sorry but there is much more things you can buy with that money.... Hobby should not be that expensive.
