What a clever idea and I enjoyed watching your great execution of it. I hope your move is going to plan and y’all get settled in quickly.
Cool project. Nicely done thanks for sharing
Nice idea, two of our children are getting married this year so may have two of them to make.
That's that just really pretty and a great idea. Great job.
I really enjoy the videos where you make stuff. The tools videos are awesome, but seeing them in practice is much more interesting now that I’m past the “tool fever” stage of this hobby, lol. Thanks for posting and sharing yourself with us.

Great idea. What did you seal it with? The usual?

This was Wipe on Poly
No concern for wood expansion. Gutsy!

What size V-Gouge do you use?

60 degree 6mm for most of this.
I have a Bailey 4 1/2 plane corrugated bottom what is the benefit of that type of bottom? is it considered a smoothing plane?
@WoodByWrightHowTo

Some will camm it a smoothing plane. That depends on what you use it for. The corigation was an advertisement from Stanley saying they would be easier to push. But that is not how physics works. So there really is no benefit.
Yes, but what about the ROUS? LOL.

Hope you made your x😂 not your ex
You really should be wearing gloves when working with the epoxy.
