Absolute masterclass in hand tool technique right here. Superb work!
It's a masterpiece 👏👏
Great job! Both the woodworking and the video.
Czysta robota I bez durnego gadania . Tyle w temacie STOLARSTWO W 101%
I always hit the like button before the video even begins. Why? I know I'm in for a treat. BTW, thanks for the live stream the other day. I see you're putting that plane straight to work. Well done sir.
Absolutely stunning!
Very Nice ! your videos bring me great pleasure . you and your family be safe. My prayers are with you. Thank you.
Simply beautiful....
You can even hear how hard that wood is on your tools! I was scared for your chisel! Excellent work as always.
Lovely, lovely work. Precision, patience lead to perfection. What a joy to see sharp blades doing their work. I’ve been woodworking for 45 plus years and now my body permits me only small amounts of manual work. So, rough work is all machines, leaving me to finish by hand. I wish I were 40 years younger in body but with all the experience I have now!
Fantastico trabajo,preciosa cajita 🤗👍
Ahhhh the card scraper, how did I ever work without one. Picked up a cabinet scraper once I learned how awesome scrapers were in general.
Thank you so much for bringing us along. Such an elegant project.
Absolutely beautiful! Always impressed with your projects. Thank you for sharing.
Manifique!
I really enjoy the simplicity of your shop and the tools you use but the work you do always turns out amazing. Truly heirloom pieces of art. Thank you for your time and inspiration.
Your videos are very good. I also started the wood hobby thanks to you.
Simply gorgeous. I love that you put such care into making mundane items but they are truly pieces of art.
I've never heard of Snakewood before. It is so beautiful and this little box is so small but still amazing!
Fantastic as always.
Beautiful, Masterful, Soothing, Healing, Penetrating I just can't get enough of your videos. The experience is so wonderful! Thank you. 💯 ❣
Absolutely exquisite ornate bit of work. Very very skillful indeed working such small pieces of wood. Many opportunities through his posts to watch and learn. Respect 🙏 Sir. Cheers Les.
A simple object. Made to a standard of utter perfection. Beautifully made and filmed. Thank you for sharing.
Damn. Absolutely splendid. Now I’m gonna get started on one for my wife. Thanks for the inspiration.
That is some beautiful wood and I loved your workmanship! Good job. I need something like that to keep my leather crafting needles in. Liked & subscribed. Thanks :)
You are a great inspiration, thank you!!!
I love it, thank you for sharing. Cheers
Beautiful handwork!
Awsome! Take care
very nice :D handy the bottom a different wood. i do pop a magnet inside my needle tins as their preference is to fall when open and full. absolutely lovely box and sweet the work put in :)
L’ARTISTE
Satisfying
Small boxes are my favorite projects. Beautiful work.
Very nice
Oh my, a serious workout for plane blades! Beautiful work, as always.
Compliment for project 👍
I love it; love it; love it. That box is very similar to a pencil box I made this year. Very similar miter on the sliding lid Now, one very minor irritation....please don't "throw" your tools like that. I realize that sawing that hard, hard wood is tiresome but I winced every time you put the tool down. Your skills are beyond mine; and I appreciate your care and ability. I just had a throw back memory when you dropped your saw on the table. Yeah, yeah, petty, I know but working wood is visceral and I just had a visceral reaction.
You work perfect us usually, snake wood it's what's incredibly beautiful. Video super and musik, iron like in comments.
That snake wood is beautiful. Solid work man 🤟🏼
beautiful little box, thanks for the inspiration
What a stunning, delicate piece. I know a couple of calligraphers who'd make good use of that box (or one like it) for their calligraphy nibs. Thank you for sharing this beautiful work.
The most enjoyable 19:39 I spent this week. Thank you and greetings from Bel Air MD
Beautiful, dude! Really amazing work! 😃 I want to make something similar, but for my cigarettes. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Thank you so much, my friend 😉🤗
I know it's a super simple observation but I'm in awe of your work holding techniques. It's amazing what a simple stop can do when you have sharp tools
I love your videos for the way they sooth me and I get to watch Woodworking and learn. Ideal combo.
Great! maybe for your Leathertools you make a fine Leather Sawhorse ( stitching Pony ) out of Maple, Walnut or what ever special Wood you have in Stock. ( only a Suggestion) ;) i heard you also do some nice Leatherwork.
Awesome work like always! I've been giving hand tools a try lately and two cuts on my hand and a couple messed up dovetails later I'm almost done with my own box 😂
I love the simplicity of this channel 🥰
Excellent video. Inspiring to watch.
😃😃👍💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Love it. Out of interest, where did you get your marking knife? I've been looking for something similar. Stay safe
Is there a reason you used a chisel for the 45 angles instead of a shooting board? Such excellent work captured ❤ never seen that type of wood before.
Sehr schön
👋👍
That looks like some very hard wood. How well did your plane blade hold up to it? Beautiful work as always my friend
Stunning
Beautiful! 🙌✨✨
Beautiful work! What happened to the width you lost from the saw kerf when you cut off the top edge of the end piece, to attach to the lid? The width of your four sides would have been different.
love it!
interstellar!!
So much better than a 3d printed box. Ripping that wood with the Japanese saw is a workout, but worth the effort. That box will live for many lifetimes. GReat work!
something about watching/listening you using a planer is satisfying! btw. where did you get your groove planer?
Beautiful. Where do you find such nice wood?
Say, I was wondering what you use as a applicator for your finish. Please and thanks as always. ☮😉
When you make a box like this and you cut through the groove to make one open end and then glue the cut off part back on the lid, how do you not have a saw kerf gap (plus any planing done)?
Another beautiful one, Yurii! Did you use cedar for the bottom panel?

Just incredible work! Please can you tell me the name of the tool you use at the 4:00 minute mark? Thank you!
To really appreciate the video one must have held snakewood in their hands! Now I understand why you did the „set up the handplane „video before it. Tomorrow is hand tool sharpening day! Keep creating beautiful things Yuri.
Hello. I was curios on what tpi you use on your veritas dovetail saw?
Que madera usa?
where is da arm hair?
