Imo the bullet bust (or the more subtle version most women wore anyways) creates a way more flattering silhouette than our weird lumpy monoboob sphere bust we have nowadays , especially from the side .

The swearer girl photos are soo chique
Girrrlll! I love your style! I grew up in the 60's, but I remember my mom using "bullet-style bras" and girdles still into the 60s. Tks for the memories.🥰

I remember HAVING to zip my mom into her girdle...
Did anyone else catch the tiny bare feet around the three minute mark? What a cute cameo ❤

😂😂😂 I moved my machines around so sometimes you can catch the kids playing
i was JUST thinking a cardigan i bought would look so much better with a cone bra silhouette !!
How beautiful and dainty. Such a lovely combination of fabrics. You look fabulous.🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺
This is so classy. Great for a summer party or to wear to a wedding.
Your dress design - with the overlay is AWESOME
I like how you said that "this is what will work for today." I recently did that on a dress I modified for my granddaughter . . . I don't have nearly as much skill as you do, and I just had to find a way to make the sleeves work when they didn't turn out as I envisioned.
The 2 fabrics are so perfect together 🥰 I always love a see through fabric of a completely different style 🥰 Yes absolutely love the bust 🥰
Your smile is a breath of fresh air! Your teachings are on point, you make the most amateur ( that's me) seamstress capable of accomplishing these projects.
Bring back the bullet shaped bust 😂😂😂 lol I've always wondered, how women of vintage times would want pointy boobs🤣😂🤣 lmao! I just love your thumbnail, made my day and you are so adorable and authentic when it comes to replicating vintage.

Thank you so much! I really like the shape . I tried on a modern bra a few weeks ago and I hate the rounded boob on me.
You look wonderful. Love your style. I personally love the 20’s. Love those gorgeous feminine dresses.
Outstanding! That bust profile and styling is perfect on you.
That is a GORGEOUS dress, and gorgeous on you!
I AGREE 💯% the bullet-bra is much more flattering, LOVE THE DRESS, and your twirls 🥰😍
Oh my goodness!! And I’m only at the fabric reveal!
Love the Doris Day & Marilyn bullet bras!
Love how the dress came out. Dress looks lovely on you.
I understand why you feel confident in this dress, it looks amazing!
My comfy bra is a playtex bra and it was 20$ and it gives me that pointy lift with no wires. It’s so nice
That is gorgeous. Well done.

Thank you
I am so used to roundish/pointy T-shirt bras-not sure I could emotionally handle a bullet bra, ha-ha. I was a 1970s teenager, I think the bras were already roundish back then. I used to wear underwire bras, but they just aren’t comfortable. Sometimes, the wire would come out of the bra and stab me! 😂 The bullet shape looks great on your cute, petite figure. I used to feel jealous of cute, slim ladies like you, but you’ve made me realize being naturally slim comes with its own self-confidence issues. I have taught myself to like my imperfect figure and to choose sewing patterns that look nice on my kind of figure-voilà, instant higher self-confidence. Also, sewing is good therapy.
I love the final dress!!! It's so cute and I love how you made the embroidery more dense on the bodice. It looks great.

Absolutely lovely, so feminine and beautiful. Great job 👏👏👏
Absolutely stunning Such talent and humility- you make it look so easy 🫡
I love all of the dresses you make!
Omg. I was just thinking that!! I’ve been looking at some bras!!
That is an adorable dress! Thanks for sharing how you made it. 🍓
I do not remember my pointy bra being really comfortable. (I am 77 yrs young-LOL). I trust you will have a different experience.

I’m curious what did you find uncomfortable about the shape?
That silhouette is amazing on you! You look very beautiful and happy in the dress
Thank you. I used to work at a Singer Sewing Center in Corpus Christi. TX n we used to fix sewing machines. This is a very good machine. Would sew heavy material plus it's all metal. You have a good one.
It's so adorable! I love that you modified it to make you more confident.

Thank you so much! I miss having cleavage so changing the shape makes everything look more interesting.
From one Sirena to another your gorgeous. Love your style. And been sewing for over 30 years. You winged it perfect. When customizing for yourself it's tricky modifying a piece. The one hint I can give you is getting a dressform to do your pattern altrications. But, from what I seen you do. Your a genius!!! Keep up the sewing. It's a beautiful gift you have been given. And it shows you celebrate it with class.
Great hack for this pattern and you look absolutely gorgeous in this dress! Love the way you overlaid and used appliqué to get a totally unique pattern.
This dress is so darling! 😆😄🎉 I don't sew, so I wasn't sure what direction you were going on this. I truly enjoy watching your projects. Perhaps one day I'll get enough nerve to learn how to sew! 😂😂😂 Great job! 😊

Thanks 🥰 you can do it! It’s so much easier than it looks
Happy Mother's Day: you are the best!!!
It's a beautiful dress and you look beautiful in it! It's such a sweet summer dress, and the bust is flattering and iconic, and suits the dress perfectly.
I'm firmly in camp pointy bust! I really like having two defined mounds instead of one round shelf lump. That and I find the cone shape to be so much more supportive without having to resort to underwire. I own quite a few vintage conical bras but as someone with naturally round, shallow bazongas I really struggle to fill the cups the way I'd like. I wonder if I could trace one of the bras and make a foam insert like you did 🤔
SewRena you made a lovely dress that complements your body type beautifully. I enjoy watching your videos!
Happy Mother’s Day Ma’am
Oh, it's so pretty! The perfect summer dress.
This should be fun! Edit: Saw the final product. It’s gorgeous! Love that silhouette!
Lovely! This look is so fun and airy. ❣❤❣
The dress is beautiful. Well done. And go for you for going your own way with the pattern - brilliantly done. And thank you for the reminder that I have a bullet bra in my UFO's that I need to get back to... it's only been in time out for around two years, lol... - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
This such a pretty dress. I think I would have made both skirt hems the same length but it’s your dress and should be what you want.

Just Beautifully Made...YOU are Fabulous in it!!!
It looks fantastic! So cute and late spring/early summer and fresh and lovely! 🧡🌞🌼 I agree that bullet bra shape is not for everyone. However, I commend you on finding a look that suits you so well. Satisfaction and success of one's own projects and wardrobe sounds so wonderful! 🌟🌼🧡
You have a beautiful shape! You also are a smart and talented seamstress!

Once again, so cute and you can pull it off.
Beautiful work and the dress looks amazing on you.
That’s adorable!
Im here for the pointy bust content lol I discovered the bullet bras realy helped how i felt about my bust after i had kids, everyone said theyd shrink back down but i went from an A to an E and lost alot of confidence Ive now perfected my underwire bullet bra pattern and feel so good bc no modern bra can conpair with the lift and seperation of a pointy bra 😂

Omg this is my story in reverse I went from a B/C to a negative A after breastfeeding. Also having a flat chest doesn’t really bother me, but it’s necessary for certain looks like how shoulder pad go well with a nice suit 😂
I curtsey to anyone who crafts their own bras -- such awesome skills and the dress is so cute. Just love your channel.❤
Such a beautiful dress, i love the chiffon overlay, the design is a dreamy pairing. You are very talented.

Daisyfresh bras had the conical style bras as my Mom wore them 💓
What a beautiful dress! I am making a chiffon dress with chiffon behind it in a separate skirt and bodice. I am using French seams and a very narrow hem using Ban-Rol. I have one week to make it. 🤞 Love your dress 👗. You always make me smile.
so cute... love the combination. You look terrific.
That’s a great silhouette for you!
Beautiful dress, you do wonderful sewing.
Absolutely love the fabric choices!! The tule overlay is perfect with the yellow gingham!! A perfect pairing of fabric and pattern. It looks fabulous on you. I remember my Mom wearing bullet bras in the 1960s it is a flattering shape for many women.
You certainly appear comfortable, natural, and elegant. I appreciate your rationale & inspiration around this project.
Great video! 🍉
I love this dress ❣️💙🥰 Fantastic! You look amazing in it💙💙💙
Love this dress. So sunny and bright for the season.
Oh man she did it again I want that dress 😮🥰🥰
Hey sweet lady.....love this dress as well... I had a yellow gingham sun dress back in 1979...of course that was several pounds ago 😅. You look absolutely adorable in yours with the overlay...Take care...see you in the next one...Your new subscriber from South Georgia...
the dress came out beautiful! I love it!!!
Looks so lovely!! 😍
Absolutely lovely!
I love a more pointed bust, I’ve got bra making supplies coming to make my own as brands like WKD don’t make inclusive sizes unfortunately.
Beautiful, you and the dress ! Love your videos and your style.❤️
THAT IS AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DRESS. YOUR WORK IS EXTREMELY GREAT.
Beautiful 🤩 I really admire and appreciate your work 😊
Beautiful as always!! 🧵🧵🧵
You’re so talented and creative in ways I could never imagine. Something classic with a hint of modernity
Wow, so stunning 🤩 💛
Beautiful dress!!!!!!!
That is a beautiful color on you! I haven’t been brave enough to attempt tulle overlays but I really want too!
So pretty! ❤
Im here, too!
My favorite dress❤
I've considered trying to use Gertie's Gina Bustier pattern and making the cups more pointy to make it as an undergarment rather than a top.
