In today's video I'm sharing how to make a tri-fold paper towel dispenser. This is a DIY paper towel dispenser and more specifically a DIY tri-fold paper towel dispenser. If you ever wondered how to make a paper towel dispenser here is an easy DIY paper towel dispenser and DIY paper towel holder. I got these tri-fold towels and needed a holder for them so I made one with some leftover wood and a few power tools.

Nice neat design. you could put the hinges on the short side.. won't touch the wall. Aerosol varnish is easier than lining the box.

Wow. I have so much admiration for a woman, who, unlike me, is skillful with wood.

You are so smart! I wish I was brave enough to use hand tools. I am a bit fearful of losing a digit.

Hi. Thank you for the compliment. It's easy to use power tools and they save so much time. I just try to be extra careful. I know you can do it! :)
I would trim the rim with a round bit using router.

Good idea. Thanks for the tip! 👍
This is great----but i do not understand how you are using the spring. It looks like you dropped it in horizontally, before you put the paper towels in---but that doesn't make sense. Can someone please explain?

I did put it in the horizontally. I lays to one side and I put the papertowels on top. I'm not sure how it helps because it ends up getting flattened out when the paper towels are in there but it still helps. So I think putting anything in there that's shorter than the width of the box and doesn't cover the opening would work fine.
So I bought an acrylic one from Amazon and the same thing happens. The towels get stuck and break. I read a comment that says it’s because it’s too flat. Then I found this video. So I’m going to see if this will work on that too. 🤞🏼

@@RandomBitesofaSweetLife just wanted to let you know I took a coil off an old planner. Low and behold… worked like a charm. Thank you!
May I ask why you were worried about the paper towels touching the wood? The contact paper inside seemed like a lot of extra work to me...🤔🤷♀️

I don’t know. Just a weird thing. It wasn’t necessary. :)
