Always nice to see some true points proved! My school has the C fold towels and they always are wasted so I use the dryers

I work at a school district and we use the single fold c fold towels. We go through a lot as the kids just waste it. They take more than that actually need.

I could watch this for hours.

I didn't know there were different "folds" of towels in the dispensers! I just knew that sometimes they worked & sometimes not. (Sometimes having to grab a stack from the inside corner!) Thank you for stating everything I was thinking. Very helpful.

Which kind of paper towels do you suggest I get ? I used the 800 feet roll of paper towels at home to dry my hands. One roll lasts me 1 to 2 weeks. I have used the Multifold towels. I got some there were thin and I had to use 2 to 3 to dry my hands and the often I was going thought a pack a day. I do like how the Multifold can be easy stored but I like how big the rolls are too. which Multifold towel do you suggest or should i stick with the rolls?

Can we use the same dispenser for the multi-folds?

I wish they'd outlaw c-folds. So many trees' lives wasted.

there is not many resouce explaining this. I bought the C fold hand towel which is so stupid to use in the dispenser. Each time you need find the edege of the paper. I cant believe who design it and why so many good reviews of the product.

I use paper towels in my house and have used rolls for the longest time. Not your home rolls. Commercial rolls and I was just getting ready to order again and while I will have to replace all of my dispensers I am going to switch to M fold. Which is so much cheaper per case. 0.009 per square foot of m fold (calculated it all out) and 10 cents per square foot of rolls at the cheapest from the place I buy from. The case of 6 rolls with 1000 foot long rolls (8" wide) are 333 square feet vs 2,440 square feet for a case of m folds. $23.49/Case M Folds $35.99/Case 8"x1000 foot.

Dude, you do not know what you are talking about. The original Scott Paper Company #150 c-fold towel was the ONLY paper towel ever designed specifically to dry hands. Every other towel since then has been designed to fit into a price point. A heavy-basis weight towel is meant to be used unfolded as the two layers absorb more moisture. "Absorbency" is trapping water between the paper fibers. The problem is that a great quality c-fold towel is hard to find, ever since Scott Paper sold out to Kimberly Clark many years ago. It's the way of the world -- forget quality, just look at the price. Bean-counters rule our world. Even multifold towels are used 3 and 4 at a time because businesses regularly buy cheap washroom products. If you grab a paper towel and end up with a half-circle of paper between your thumb and index fingers, you have a cheap towel. Those half-circles invariably wind up on the floor under the towel dispenser.
