I think she owns stock in Alka-Seltzer! Some of those cleaning tasks are cleaned just as well with regular dishwashing soap, which she uses after the Alka-Seltzer soaking anyway. Another cleaning hack is to make a squirt-bottle of mostly water and just a 1/4 cup of bleach. Particularly good for stain removal. Leaves a bleachy clean smell but not that bad. MUCH, MUCH cheaper than all those Alka-Seltzer tablets. I don't mean to cast a bad shadow. A lot of those usages, particularly the coat-hanger ones were great.

Imagine going into a house and seeing hangers deployed all over the place, like holding bunches of bananas in the kitchen, a selection of magazines in the bathroom 🚽, holding up art in the living room, tools hanging up on a coat rack in the garage, shoes in the hallway, etc...

I don't know if it's going to be a problem or not, but if there is a huge increase in using alcoseltzer for cleaning, are the facilities that remove contaminants from waste water going to be able to continue to remove the aspirin, and other ingredients from the water? I'm not suggesting other chemical cleaning products are any better, just that people generally don't consider potential problems their actions could cause.

Good for using expired alka seltzer but expensive otherwise. Baking soda and vinegar does the same thing but much cheaper

Excellent ideas. My Mom writes the ingredients of home made cleaners on the outside of her spray bottles with a permanent marker pen.

I love it when they clean clean things! Alka-Seltzer to clean everything, then she washes and scrubs them which would have done the job in the first place! 🤪🤪

Not necessarily...sometimes the fizzing provides an additional level of cleaning beyond soap and water.. especially if you live in an area that has hard water buildup. Those plastic containers for instance sometimes NEVER get truly clean with just soap and water. But I agree with another commenter sometimes soap and water needs a little "help" like adding bleach which also disinfects surfaces especially if there is someone sick in your household you are not just spreading germs everywhere.

It shows most people do not read the comments or they would see that 40 people have already mentioned denture tabs lol

We shouldn't have to "rig" hangers to fit our needs. Why aren't companies who make clothing hangers or similar gadgets designing these things??? Like definitely putting foam padding in the clips on pants hangers??? How difficult is that??? Not very - I've thought of it along with millions of others, I'm sure! I use pieces of paper towel or tissue paper, whereas the video shows a business card. Regardless, these companies are lazy.

Baking soda and vinegar does the same thing as those pricey tablets and is much less expensive. Plus, both are usually in everyone's home.

Shower curtain rings on a hanger is a bad idea. The slightest bump and the hanger will tip sliding all of them to one end in a tangle of necklaces. Notice she has to carefully try to balance the hanger and in one scene she can't even let go.

A dab of hot glue to hold them in place works great to prevent them from slipping up and down the hanger.

:15 or just use one paper towel roll versus taping 2 toilet paper rolls together.
