Grain sack fabric is perfect for pillow covers, aprons, banners, covering or upholstering chairs, small stuffed pillows and sachets, and I've also made Christmas ornaments out of it! Here's an easy tutorial for the ornaments: www.artfulhomemaking.com/grain-sack-christmas-ornaments/ I usually use a needle that's specifically for denim or heavier-weight fabric.
