I think this Stormtrooper's platoon was probably chasing down a smuggler who was bringing exotic animals to crime lords when the smuggler released the animals and they stampeded through his platoon, leaving just him to be hunted by the Nexu.

I love this video

I think the best backstory for this would be the Stormtrooper is stationed on Saleucami (an outer rim planet where Nexus have been seen and there's a known imperial base) and got split from their platoon chasing down a small squad of rebels who ran into the jungle for cover, and the trooper ends up hearing something in the undergrowth, thinking it's a rebel or another member of their platoon they investigate only to be ambushed by the Nexu, the trooper manages to get in a fatal shot before the Nexu can do any serious damage and is saved by their platoon who heard the blaster fire.

The trooper was cut of from rest of his platoon after an ambush while out on a patrol looking for a rebel leader. When their transport was attack he was thrown of down a smaller ravine and blacked out, he was awaken from a smaller creature fleeing from something in the woods. Hearing russling ge pulled out the blasters to be prepared for what he first tought was more rebels there to finish the job but then the Nexu attacked. Hurting the shoulder of the trooper but ge managed to get in a fatal shot after the Nexu Landed and was turning around. With the Nexu dead but he himself bleading he started to try to find his way out, but the bloodloss was getting greater and greater and his vision was blurring he could the remains of what was once his platoon in the distance. Finaly, he would be saved.

TK-2501 depicted here in this diorama was stationed on Morak, a jungle planet. He was tasked with guarding refinery docking bay 32. When the refinery was attacked and destroyed by the Rebels, TK-2501 was one of the few survivors. With no way to contact Imperial headquarters, he began walking Southwest In the direction of the nearest Imperial outpost. Unfortunately for TK-2501 he stumbled upon a nest of Nexu. As the mother Nexu lunged at TK-2501 he stumbled backwards firing off one blaster bolt. The bolt struck one of the mother Nexu's many teeth, chipping it and deflecting off. TK-2501 is currently listed as MIA in the Imperial database.

That Nexu is incredible. I'd imagine the trooper is probably on some backwater forest planet and ignored his higher up's warnings about wandering off into the forest alone. Don't fuck with the wildlife kids!

While hunting down the rebels, one garrison of TK’s were dispatched to the remote jungle planet, Yavin 4. While on patrol, TK122 was near the rebel base when he heard something moving in the brush ahead of him. As he investigated, he was viciously attacked by a Nexu, mauling him to death and keeping the rebel base hidden until they launched their attack on the Death Star a few days later.

@@Craftlngo storm troopers are mostly human, only a few of them are clones and they are mostly the death troopers and a few higher ranking storm troopers

To avoid that accumulation of resin don't forget to make some draining holes, the suction can also break your FEP sheet. The diorama looks amazing.

Fantastic!!! You used my ferns!!! Seriously, thanks for the shout out Caleb! This came out so good. It was awesome watching you do the 1/12 scale foliage. It's honestly my favorite part of a build (when the build has foliage in it). I have that same bag, the Moss Collection, and it comes with such a great variety of stuff in it. I have NOT tried the moss mat yet though, but I think that's going to be my new forrest floor method instead of sprinkling tea leaves and oregano over mod podge lol. The hunt for things to use for 1/12 scale foliage is also part of the fun I feel. Your 3d printer has really upped your game and allowed you to tackle some really cool projects. This was a super creative build and you put out a great video as usual!

I think you created the story with the description, the last of his squad, which the Nexu has slowly whittled down to this last surviving stormtrooper, this being the final showdown between predator and prey. Epic as ever, looks great how he's firing yet putting his hand up to protect himself from the nexu

I like the thought of this being more like The Revenant kind of attack. Where he gets mauled pretty good but in the end survives.

Awesome work. I laughed at the "gushers" line when you took the print off the plate. Might want to put a few drain holes into your model next time. And for accidents like this I find that an aluminum turkey roaster pan is a great work area to keep resin from going everywhere.

This Nexu is one of the offspring of the Nexu that were used in the arena's on Geonosian. When the Nexu that attacked Senator Amidala was killed, several others escaped as well. This was kept silent so that fear would not spread across the population. When after the Clone Wars the planet was under the Empire rule again a small platoon of Stormtroopers was stationed there. Nexu sometimes wander out of the forest into the city parks looking for food. This unfortunate Stormtrooper was just on this Sunday morning stroll through the park when he was attacked by this Nexu. He was very lucky that his quick reflexes saved him. He shot the Nexu through the head and it was killed instantly. He of course filed a complaint with the park officials and got a nice settlement so in the end it turned out to be his lucky day.

Man, I’ve been binge watching your videos lately and I really like the way this one turned out, the light up blaster was the best! Thanks for sharing with us man!

This is one of the best yet!

The story behind this is, the second death star has been destroyed. The New Republic has taken out the main imperial base on this forest planet, forcing the imperials to scatter and flee into the forest. This stormtrooper has lost his way, and found his unfortunate end when he came in conflict with this Nexu. Great diorama as always! Can't wait for the next one!

A MICE trooper is inspecting an abandoned installation on the forest world of Cholganna as part of a larger sweep to eliminate smuggling cells in the Outer Rim. While trying to find an entry point to the facility, he is suddenly attacked by a Nexu that use the interior to shelter her brood. The Imperial Material Inspection and Contagion Elimination (MICE) unit is tasked with structural assessment and pest control of newly aquired Imperial assets on occupied worlds. Applicants to the Imperial corps that fall short of the height requirement, but otherwise show heightened physical capabilities, are usually assigned to this troop. Their low stature combined with physical prowess make them excellent infiltrators. They can more easily crawl into cracks and crevices as well as hide more efficiently to avoid detection from both hostiles and wildlife. In this instance the troopers abilities seem to have come up a bit short of the task.

I think this is one of the best Dioramas I've seen. You are so clever.

This is by far my favourite diorama of you, looks so good - im still hoping for the training facility from tcw s3e1 :D

Another fantastic build, always love seeing your videos. A great trick for foam bricks is to cut them, then put them into a container with some rocks and shake them around. Then they get a bit beaten up and textured. Hope it helps, keep up the great work!

He was probably just on patrol of an area supposedly inhabited by rebels when he wandered just a little too far and met this nexu. But luckily, the arena nexu's are always riled up and starved to increase entertainment for the arena goers. So, in the wild they r rather friendly and he just wants to play w this stormtrooper :)

I imagine at that range and with the nexu's mouth open as it is, the blaster going straight through the nexu's brain cavity. I think that storm trooper just got very lucky and will be very pleased his linings are all coloured black

Ohh man great diorama!! A Stormtrooper broke off from his unit to take a piss and was attacked..........lucky for him his shot completely missed and hit a tree behind behind the nexu so his death was quick and painless.

This guy is amazing! He is talented beyond belief. Every video I watch of his, I thoroughly enjoy. Some people just have that artistic flair, and this guy has it. He also is super talented in that what he plans on making, actually comes out like he intended it to. I don't know if he just does this as a hobby, but I am sure he could somehow make a living at it. I am sure that many people would pay for one of his works of art!

Vader knew first hand how dangerous the Nexu are. Getting one wasn’t difficult, though, smugglers specialized in moving monsters like these. The difficulty was finding troopers that could survive on the planet long enough to be selected as members of Vader’s personal squadron. This one didn’t make the cut.

I believe the storm trooper was on a recon mission and it suddenly strikes him the he was not alone. Also awesome build!

Darth Vader wanted the nexus extinct because of what happened at Geonosis, but the animals didn't give up without a fight!!!!

If Star Wars logic applies, this trooper, against all odds, will miss that Nexu and have a very bad time.
