I’m glad you like it! I have found that o really need to sew that button closure with extra thread due to the use ☺️ Jr it’s so worth it to keep everything contained. Would love to see your creations! And yes, it’s a great place for longarmers to practice! I never let a practice fabric go with out being used for something!

Thanks Karen, I love this pattern. I made several a couple of years ago as Christmas presents, and have regretted ever since not making one for myself. This year I plan to make 2, one to cover my happy planner and another to cover my new rocketbook. The zippered pouch is what sold me, and I love how easy it is to adjust the sizes to match my notebook.

Thank you @frenchstamper. I agree the music is distracting. We were covering up the Air conditioning noise and have since made sure to turn it off when filming. Concerning other sizes - just lay your item out that you want to cover give yourself several inches all around then add 5" for the pocket or the size that will wrap around and give you a large enough size. Cut this out of scrap fabric and do a test wrap then adjust as necessary

  • @TheQuiltRambler

Yes, I layer the pieced top, batting, with a fabric that will not show later - so use up a scrap, muslin, or “ugly fabric” and save the “pretty” fabric for the unquilted lining!

Where did you get your zipper? I have searched Joanns ...Walmarts....online ...China...everywhere....and nobody seems to sell zippers with those kind of pulls on them. Now I did find where I could buy the zipper head only that looks just like the one you have....but they were from China and they were very cheaply made...and of course no zipper tape to go with. I need to find a good zipper connection...and one that's fairly priced. I hate when people over price their zippers.
