How to make a Pizza Peel from scrap wood

With spring in full swing, there is nothing better than a nice homemade pizza.
I actually made this Pizza Peel over a year ago when the pandemic hit and was unemployed. I took to watching a lot of videos from Adam Ragusea's video on New York-style pizza at home, v2.0, and thought to myself I can do that.
While the dough was rising I took it upon myself to make a Pizza Peel, made out of scrap wood.
I had also bought a new spokeshave and a shinto rasp that I used to do the bulk of the shaping.

haha thanks, What tools do we have in common? A lot of mine were given to me, found on a local buy and sell, or I think the only thing I bought new was the mitre saw and by band saw that is now broken 😭

Awesome job! I liked how you split the glue up into two so that you could focus on getting it perfect once it was too big for the planer

First time using one, I really enjoyed it!
Very good and passionate work, and video quality. Left me wanting scrap wood like this, where I live is hard even to buy "nice" wood.

Thanks for watching, woods very expensive now. I'm lucky that I collect so much scrap wood. But it's hard to get big pieces to make bigger projects 😃
