I love the rustic wood look, we just made a rustic style desk that kinda looks like repurposed barn boards. Great project. So great that you both worked in it together.

I am actually thinking of creating my own large staircase mirrors but not quite that large. It’s good to know about the bracket to hang large pieces so that i can hang my mirrors without worry of them falling. You guys did a beautiful job creating this oversized now floor mirror!

Couple things- how thick was your plywood backing and what is the name of that bracket you had PLANNED to use if hung on the wall??

Hi Mindy! I hope the project is going well! The plywood backing was very thin, I think 1/4 inch. I would've put the L bracket on the front, as well, and painted it matte black. To make it lighter, would you be able to use the craft board that's shiny on one side and like pegboard material on the other?
