How to make a Galaxy Edge Panel | DIY Build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

So after my first trip to Galaxies Edge, I felt inspired to make a Panel as seen at Batuu.
This build started over a year ago. When I encountered imperfections in the build that I could not get past…I shelfed it. But recently, my friend Kelcie helped me fabricate the part that was troubling me and I am super inspired to finish this Panel.
Now most all the panels in Batuu are flush mounted, and I am making a panel. So I will have to figure out how to fabricate the sides to fit the aesthetic of the overall Batuu design.
To add to this, I just got back from a trip to Galaxies Edge with a few friends who are also Makers. If you have not done so, I highly recommend it. Not only is it fun to hang out there, but the creative outpouring is nonstop. You can’t help but want to build something the second you get home.
From this trip, I felt inspired to weave a Story of Batuu in this video. It is inspired not only by the Galaxies Edge Park and the desire to make a panel….but to capture the creativity inspired by my friends. A few of them cosplayed while there…in Disneyland speak…it is called “Bounding”. One built awesome Empire Badges for us to wear the whole trip, another had a sense of humour & “Darth” Humour that got us highlighted at Olga’s that made for a once in a lifetime trip. I could keep going on, but really just mean to say, that I feel grateful to have great friends who are not just fun to be around, but truly inspire me. And this is the tale….
Smugglers, Y’Lek Enrets and Bre-T were in need of closing out some debts on The Outer Rim and making some quick ship repairs. Nothing that would make the ship fully whole, but just enough to keep her flying. The latest word was that a Droid Builder by the name of EkaJ was stowed up in Batuu trying to find a crew daring enough to smuggle some high valued commodities. The brewing battles between the First Order and the Resistance has made life hard on everyone, but no more than could be seen on the streets of Batuu. The risks was moderate, but the rewards could just be what Y’Lek and Bre-T needed to get ahead in this Galaxy.

Looks really good especially getting the lights to work with the colored tiles.

Thank you. Yea, it was a bit if tinkering to get full coverage lighting and an interesting pattern of light activity (more so for real world than in camera…as I didn’t want it too strobe light like)

Thank you Brian. And to be honest, I think the universe knew I shouldn’t be kitbashing from the kit I bought from you. They need to be completed on their own
