Elemental Nature is definitely becoming a fave, although I prefer the tooth over the horn.

I agree

The heavy use of bone, horns, and skin makes this feels more like a hunter's set. Feels like an odd direction for an "elemental nature" to me but it does a lot to separate it from the old style.

These pieces do seem a bit more cartoony than the last set, but I still really like them. I think they did a great job being creative with the new designs. 👍🏻

I'm going to Galaxy's edge next week for the first time and I was on the fence about Savi's workshop when I was going to buy Cal Kestis's lightsaber from Dok Ondar's. But once I saw this drop I jumped over the fence and went running for a reservation. Lol I guess I'm just going to have to have two lightsabers. 🤘😎

I have to say I love the concept art for the new power and control refresh... can't wait to see this one.

They look very cool! I will say, the rancor tooth is the GOAT piece… that’s what is so hard for me to love these. I will totally make one!

Elemental was my choice when I went last week. I love how unique and detailed the hilts look. I would have preferred having the Rancor tooth though.

they're interesting but I'm glad I built mine back in May when the older set was available. This new set is not to my taste but I hope other enjoy it. The new Power and Control though has me wanting to plan another trip to Disney.

These look so nice, hopefully I will be able to get every piece from each set over two visits to the park which I should be able to do if I can go through Savi's twice in one visit. Out of the old pieces the Power and Control was my favorite but when it comes to the new pieces I would have to say that the Elemental Nature is now my favorite.

Looks great. The new Power and Control parts look really fantastic.

I’m sorry but 250 is just too much for these. The 200 price point was great, and the 220 was tolerable, but 250 for the actual quality is a hard pill to swallow.

Yeah fr like at this point buying a neopixel saber is way better for the price, like I get it you build it but after a while the build aspect goes away and all you have is a cheap quality daber and electronics.

There's some interesting stuff going on here (the sprouting bone emitter and dewback leather sleeve specifically), but I'm sorry to say that this is the first theme refresh so far that looks LESS refined than the original. Aside from what's been mentioned, my initial reaction is that the finished sabers look quite noisy. So many different colors and shapes and patterns, seems a bit much, as opposed to the other refreshes, which feel very focused and streamlined. My daughter got an elemental nature saber last year and after seeing this refresh, I'm glad she already did (she very cleverly got herself a rankor tooth pommel, which I'm sure will be worth a fortune in the near future).

So happy I got a rancor tooth before the refresh.

Very excited about the "elemental nature"!

Welp. Still crossing my fingers for the P&D refresh at Batuu east. I’m headed over the first week of January and I really like the new options.

I can't decide between using the new Elemental Nature Bone Emitter for my saber or the new Protection and Defense that has more Gold and the ring around it.

I don't know if it is the image quality of the pieces or if the colors just look lighter but it makes the pieces look more "plastic" or of lesser quality than the first set. I really hope that isn't the case because I do like the designs of the new pieces.

I like most of the parts in the new EN set. The "dewback" sleeve looks good, but it's the only one with any green on it, so it doesn't match as well with the rest. It all has a very primitive vibe, like something a force-sensitive Ewok or Tusken might put together. I was kind of hoping that the new set would have a pommel option that looked like a chunk of crystal, like some lightsabers you can see in SWTOR. That would have been a must have if they made one like that. Most of the new sets that have dropped have been pretty detailed, which I like. That's part of why I went for the old Elemental Nature as my first 'saber. Now that we've seen all four (if you count the promo pics of Power and Controll), I think the one I like best is the Protection and Defense.

I hoped they wouldn't give Elemental Nature a refresh. I really liked the first wave of pieces! The darker tones, full leather sleeve, the Brylark wood sleeve, Cartusion whale bone!, that awesome-looking Rancor tooth!, a d-ring pommel if you wanted it, and little to no metal, so it really spoke as Elemental Nature and not just Elemental Nature pieces wrapped around metal. Thanks to your videos, Dan-O, I had my whole lightsaber put together without stepping a foot into the parks! 😁 Now, I'm going to have to drastically rethink it. 😔 The new pieces are neat, but do look a little plastic-y, so a little weathering might be better, which is not good when you're spending $250 on a collectable! The second series: I like the Elemental Nature logo switches, that's a neat change, I will admit. I also really like the vents in the emitters, that is another great change. I don't like how the new pieces make so many more sections to the lightsaber hilt when put altogether, but oh well. The dewback leather sleeve looks so good!, even though I wouldn't get it personally. The Bantha horn pommel looks really good, although I don't know if I would go with that one, I can't decide! Again, I don't like that there's metal at the end of the pommel, it takes away from the Elemental Nature, in my opinion. I really like the bone carvings in each piece, though, they're so intricate! I hope the old pieces will be available at Dok Ondar's or Savi's Workshop so that you could switch them out and mix-and-match if you wanted. I live in MN, so I could go to either East or West, but my first choice would be East, as they have the full HPWW there. If you've not been there, that land is AMAZING! But then again, I'm a big HP fan, as well as Star Wars. Thank you so much for your awesome videos, Dan-O, you've got yourself a new subscriber! ☺❤

I just got back from Batuu East, still all the old parts. I think they are using them up as they were out of sleeve pieces for two different styles. They just doubled up another. I was sad but my peace and justice saber turned out a lot nicer then I thought, so I forgive them.

That's how they manage savis? That's honestly ridiculous to put it lightly. $250+ item and some pieces are not available. Thanks for the update on East, I have a trip lined up early January. I believe I'll be goin Protection and Defense and my friend is choosing Elemental Nature. Crossing my fingers for full scrap supply.

I'm happy with what I got, but I was at Hollywood Studios this last week and I was just kind of bummed that none of the new builds have made it out east. I don't live anywhere near either of the Disney's, so I can't just go and get new pieces. The new elemental nature and peace and justice just have some much cooler pieces in my opinion

I really like the design of all the new pieces but all of the new sets to me somehow look more like a toy than the old ones did. I know they're not plastic but they give that vibe. Love the designs though.

Yes. These are complete refreshes of the entire theme. Announced last May at Star Wars celebration. In Disneyland, 3 out of 4 themes have been replaced/refreshed. Next/last is power and control

250$ really well that was good that I was able to make mine before this lol I made my form peace and Justice form the new Set and I only pay 220$ and that was 3 weeks ago dec 7 2022 so lucky I made mine before the up price cuz 250$ kinda pushing it

First impressions I am seeing too much nature, not enough elements, like you said they're going heavy on the animal skin, and bones in this theme...

Maybe I'm off on this, but are the different Elemental Nature scrap pieces from different planets? With the Rancor tooth & leather, the first set appeared to be from Dathomir. The new set has Dewback & Bantha parts.. so seems like it's from Tatooine. Anyhoo, great vid as always Dan-o.. thanks for keeping us up to date! 🖤

I still prefer the original design since I've would've gotten my lightsaber recently but I think I see why they changed them and this new design is growing. Although I really loved the rancor tooth from the original.

Are they still selling the individual pieces over in Batu west? If so much does anyone know how much they are?

I'm going on Dec 24 and I was looking forward to making my first lightsaber here with the Elemental Nature set but now I'm reconsidering. I don't like this new set at all.

Welp, I was actually saving up my money to go to Galaxy’s Edge in a few months to make my own Saber… now those plans are kaput considering I won’t be able to get the pieces I actually like… I don’t see why they couldn’t/wouldn’t just make additional sets? It’s not like they’d lose money

Great video as always. The pieces look good however I’m surprised none of the sleeves have wood on them. I wonder if the green lizard skin piece is Zillo Beast Hide.

By chance is there anyway that the Rancourt tooth could be another shop for spare parts for the light sabers??? because I saw there is other shops that have spare parts to add to it if you wanted

It’s not. The creature stall sells creature carved pommels. The rancor tooth is not one of them.

@@infernoauto all the pieces have metal connections and threads. Most are built on a base of metal. Like the sleeves in the elemental nature set, they are a metal base but the wood or bone details are a carved rubber that is glued on to the metal. As for the rancor tooth, the tooth portion was plastic but the ring that connects the saber chassis was metal.

If your going to spend that kind of money your better off going to NEO Sabers for a more realistic light saber! These Disney light sabers are like $250.00 toys, the NEO Sabers do so much more , lights & sounds are so much more, & no plastic!!

Sure, but for those that enjoy the modular nature of Savi’s. There’s nothing out there that comes close. Savi’s does need to update their chassis to work with neopixel and still use the same measurements on the metal pieces so it all still works.

Great point. These really do look plasticy. Especially in comparison to others. These are still made with a base of metal, they just have rubber and plastic details.

The others all look great, but this one is not good. I liked the old Elemental and Nature, and am disappointed now.

Not my favorite set tbh. The transitions don't look great, and everything looks rubber/plastic... Maybe it's better in person? No hate to anyone who likes them, to each their own and all that, I'm just not a fan of these...

Elemental nature has always been the most fake looking of all the sets. They use a lot of rubber and I think that’s what causes it.

I think the green dewback leather does but for me that’s the one that sticks out the most.

I'll say this, not a fan of the new stuff

The lightsaber is OK looking but,, If Disney want to sell this "set" for $250, at least add a choice of sith or jedi holocron as well.... or as per usual, the fans of Star Wars, not Disney, will just make better merchandise then Disney itself every time. Which is kinda sad. Disney basically just giving us demo models that the fan will just make, not buy.
