All this time I've watched your videos and I never knew you were in Vegas too!

I make diorama displays for 3 3/4 inch star wars figures, and these worked much better for wall greeblies than phone greeblies

I am so glad you did this video! I was debating on buying this. Watching this makes me personally realize it wouldn't be great for me because sliding in and out of pockets is key for me. But showing everyone you can make it for any phone is awesome! Thank you!

Great review and nicely done on creating 3 cases. They look neat and have their own character to them. I agree that the pieces are chunky but glad to hear/see that the "sticky" part of it seems strong.

So $44 or so for the Disney version is quite literally out of this world but when you put your spin on it, it kind of works out ok. Personally i’d far rather just DIY without the Disney kit but the pieces are cool (but bulky). 🍺

It’s kinda neat!

I have the iPhone 12 Pro in the same colour you have and this is a very cool idea that I might have to try even if it is not with the Disney kit there are so many possibilities with this

I think instead of putting them on my phone case if I ever buy them, I might put them to kit bash different display stands or shelves.

I’m in Florida, but planning a trip to Disney is almost not worth it because one has to schedule it like it like you’re going out of the country. My family used to pile into the car like we were going to a local restaurant, which was fun, not now. It kinda sucks, it’s not as easy as if used to be.

I agree with that totally. It’s a pain in the butt to plan all this stuff and I’m just going by myself. Not even taking the whole family. They’ve definitely over complicated what should be fun and simple.

I like your idea to make different cases with what the set includes good video, hope to be there during the summer ot the year after

Those cases look great! Idk if I’ll be able to get any at the moment… but maybe in the future.

Even cheaper if you access to a 3D printer to just print the parts you want to add

I have the exact same airbrush system. It’s really good for some customization and not to expensive

Maybe paint the kit pieces to look worn down, a little scuffed up. To give that realistic look. ☺️

Recommendation for those put off by the foam sticky pads and the pieces being too darn thick: - use some aggressive sandpaper, get them thinner. - use either two-part epoxy, or a combination of epoxy putty and superglue, for "absurdly permanent" assembly. Should bond stronger than the paint or plastic you're gluing to. - Failing that, use Scotch "EXTREME" mounting tape. That stuff is used to hold the greeblies and trim that people put on their actual cars.

Yeah, Galaxys Edge Florida we don't have that kit here, at least I Haven't seen it here. But the Idea U Gave about Hobby Lobby Kits and Five Below is Awesome. Especially my Hobby Lobby Mgr Is A Big Star Wars Fan, so my Hobby Lobby Store Has A lot of the kits and Just A lot of Star Wars stuff Period. It's So Awesome. Now I Gotta Get these Kits too when I go there lol. But I'm Gonna Tell the mgr at Hobby Lobby about this and he is gonna Love this. Most likely he is gonna probably order a Bunch of these kits for himself now, lol. Anyway Thanks Again for your Awesome Video. I soo Love your Channel man. @@Dan-O OK I Definitely will. Oh for the kits we buy from Hobby Lobby what do you use to stick those parts onto the phone case with. I know the parts from the park already come with the stick part on the back of them but the kits you buy, they don’t have any stick backing on them. Let me know thanks. Many Blessings Always

@@elishanahir I’ve got an aquarium pump on order for the foam! And I’ve got all the makin’s for the Rodian ration too. Last video I think I left out the T-16 Skyhopper, I’ll be sure to include it next time.

Really cool, Android has their NFC antenna on that side though so may be why they only offer Apple which is on the edge, with the thickness an Android with Google Pay or even charging wouldn't work. They do have custom case printing at a few of the parks so maybe they could add Datapads as an option in Galaxy's Edge, have customizable pattens you can pick to just be printed, I got an R2D2 printed case for my Samsung and love it.

Idk what kind of glue it uses but sometimes like with wall mount sticky things, they can have a stronger hold after sitting awhile giving a better bond.

It’s a plastic toy…meant for playful fighting but not full force combat or anything.

If someone can 3d scan those pieces you could possibly 3d print them and make infinite number of them on a 3d printer

Photos app. Check out my video on the watch or just find my old Facebook post where I shared the image. Also I put them on shop.BatuuBountyHunt.com just don’t by the listing but save the images for free.

the site you recomend either got hacked or is running a hijack script.. everytime I go their I get redirected to a spam site.

Can you use the Datapad Case on an iPhone 13?

The case that is included is just for iPhone 11 size phones. Not sure if that also fits a 13… I think the camera slot may be different.

Kinda chunky, but it's great that Disney is marketing an accessible way to have a cool datapad case for those that may not have ever heard of such a thing, or who feel they don't have the skills or creativity to DIY one. Of course, we know that's not true, anybody can kitbash a case if they just try it, but still, this is neat.

Sorry, not a fan. Just speaking for me, I’d rather build a pad from scratch. That way, all the parts will look cohesive & not just pieces stuck together. On the plus side though, if you’ve got the $ - it’s quick & easy to create something.
