I think it's a resin catch pot. So if any resin gets into the vacuum line, it doesn't go into the pump and ruin it

What will happen if you put the fibers into mixing cup while stirring the epoxy together and then just dumping all in the mold pressing and chopping off the excess?

I was about to ask the same thing - Like prepreb carbon, then you can control how much resin it has.. to avoid breaking the mold because of too much resin.

@@Skovsnegl I guess that when you do this the fibre will get curved and won't be straight....that's what I think but it won't be a problem.

So i have a question, carbon fiber is uassaly used for its strength and weight, but isn't this just making strength because of the epoxy and also adding weight becouse of that? (And i dont just mean this but also the other stuff he makes out of cloth carbon fiber)

Hi friend. Carbon fiber is molded by resin. Prepregs contain minimal resin. Other operations Infusion and hand layup require a large amount of resin. So I use peel ply, breather and bleeder to absorb unnecessary resin.

I just started watching u and had no experience in cf, but i am a huge car fan (thats especially why i love u so much lol) but i got an mps6 but there arnt much aftermarket cf parts for it so i wanted to make my own after watching u and was just curious as to how this compared to the manufacturers cf, thanks for the info and keep up the good work (ps, if u could do a cf hood that would be awesome)

안녕하세요 일반적인 패턴의 카본섬유와 포지드 카본의 가장 큰 차이점.. 일반적인 패턴의 카본섬유는 일정한 패턴을 가지고 엮여서 원단으로 만듭니다. 그렇게 만들어진 원단을 적층하여 파츠를 만드는 경우 패턴의 방향(?), 형태(?)로 충격이 가해지면 그 패턴을 따라 크랙이 발생하는 경우가 종종 있습니다. (표현이 어렵네요ㅠ) 그러나 포지는 카본의 경우 그러한 패턴 없이 카본섬유들이 서로 긴밀하게 엉켜 있기 때문에 일반적힌 패턴의 카본파츠에서 나타나는 충격 손상이 없다는 장점이 있습니다. 보다 자세한 내용은 구글을 찾아보시면 아마 쉽게 찾으실 수 있으리라 생각합니다. ^^
