Fantastic, you can put 2 springs under the moveable part surrounding the metal bars instead of a bunch of strech.

Perfect for hobby PCB drilling just what i needed

Thanks for the simple and practical design for a PCB drill. When I make my drill, I will use 8mm rods and linear bearings; instead of a rubber band, I will use a couple of compression springs.

You could use tension spring also

Genius, 👍 which power supply or adapter to use for power to motors

This is a cheap and useful concept, i am looking to make an electric starter for my 50cc motorised bike with one of these, i will attach it to the magneto

instead of using rubber bands what else I can use to replace it, and I can choose any size drill chuck right

請教影片裡3分40秒中出現鑽孔畫面..孔會出現圓凹槽(應該是配合鎖木工螺釘用)..是用甚麼鑽頭鑽的?

Simple and easy to make! better than other using CNC, lathe etc.. They are looks professional but it’s very far from HOME DIY…

The way tools are made, do your best for the first attempt, use that tool to make a better copy, if needed then use that clone to make a final copy, this is how a lathe or drill press can be made in the home shop with little precision tools that can turn out to be remarkably accurate. ☺
