Can we all just can a moment to appreciate that he appears to be doing this on his dining room table :)
Never cut square corners into composites, it creates a stress riser and will crack. Next time, drill a hole in each end of the slot, then cut, you will thank me later. Nice job otherwise!
Your M4 is one of the cleanest builds out there. And the fact that you build most parts on your own makes this the most beautiful M4 for me. Planning on doing a project like this too. Hope I will ever have the same skills as you have.
Waiting for the DIY Carbon engine hood project 🥰

if you want a detailed video (well more like 3 videos) then you should watch the first few videos of easy composites ltd, they sell all the stuff you need and doing a really good job explaining how its done and their first show off project was a full carbon fibre hood ;)
This video is amazing. No music, noises. Just a step by step with a clear shot of what he's doing and a bit of humor to bring it together. Great job as always!
This is getting close to “how to basic” 😂😂😂

It is very basic if you compare it to modern way of carbon fiber part production.

Really respect your DIY spirit and problem solving. It may not be the "right way" in the eyes of professionals, but your results speak for themselves! Thank you for showing the whole process, not just your successes (the carbon filling of the wing seam was simple and effective.
Now I can see why people change so much for carbon fibre parts. A lot of work goes into production. Great job
I think the most impressive thing is that you got all of the mold pieces to print without lifting at the ends! Props to your bed level. Nice job on everything!
This was incredibly neat, love your work.
What a great job! Once again, video can't tell viewers how much work and time really were spend on it) You made such a great step from basic laminating to really advanced moulds and proper complex details!
Such a sick job man. I love seeing a project completed with minimal tools and lots of know-how.
A pro tip is to not use the sealant tape as full wide but stretch it. We were able to reduce our usage of sealant tape tenfold by stretching the tape. Also, please use water to reduce the amount of airborne dust when cutting and sanding.

Hello, friend. I've always thought it was expensive compared to the amount of sealant tape. Thank you for your advice.
Really like your videos and looking foward to every single one you gonna upload! It's such a inspiration to do even more things on my own! 💪
Nce vid! you should try make a carbon fiber hood for the bmw, think about it!
Who else can say “i made that wing” or all the other carbon stuff youve put on your car!! Amazing youre the reason i started making my own carbon parts on my gt500. They arent as good as yours but im getting there im doing smaller peices first. Love the videos!!
This is the first video of yours I’ve come across and I’m loving the editing
Not many people can say they built everything aftermarket on their car and have it look like that. Kudos to you man you do a fantastic job.
Very nice! And glad to see some of your older episodes/things you have made on your car!
Nice execution on the moulds, good job 👍
nice work bro love the quality of the parts and the videos!!
Well done , it's a great job that requires precision , The rendering is really beautiful !
Absolutely 💯 🔥 man. Great work!!!
Great work, man! Id like to see a video on how you made your little "vacuum pot". That is pretty clever. Keep it up! Subscribed!!!!!
Always a pleasure watching your skills. How about some videos about your M4 and what all you have done to it.

You could be the official wing supplier to Ramy RC!
i don't know how many times i saw this video so far but each time i learn something new from it
Nice! I've also got a white M4 Competition with a few parts carbon skinned thanks to your videos 😊
Just amazing! I love your videos! You inspired me to start working with carbon fiber! Unfortunately for me been a lot of fails 🤣 but I’m getting there! How of did it take you to get the spoiler done?
Very smart! Liking how you went made the mould.
This is an awesome build!
loved your vids man!
Very much informative....loved it. I wanted to know how did you decide the shape of the aerofoil?
very good. I think your leading and trailing edge bonding could be improved.

agreed on that ! I too felt the LE-TE bonding was errr ..."questionable"
I just love a bit of carbon 👍👌🏻
Arrrgghhhhh, why am i always impressed🔥🔥
I would suggest laminating foam core sandwiched between the middle of your lay ups to add rigidity and highly advise against using aluminum directly in contact with Carbon as it will react and corrode over time if the materials aren't kept entirely segregated from eachother. Otherwise good work. Power tools like sanders, spray guns, and pressure washers would speed up your process as well :)
Beautiful work 👌🏼
Love your Videos you have give me so much inspirations ! Keep Going you are awesome !
thats awesome good job man! next project would be carbon fiber hood for the M4 ahahaha
Bro You are my inspiration, congrats from México
That's a wonderful piece of art...✨😍
Its flimsy because your carbon weaves are all in one direction, you need to interchange them 45 degrees. For next time. :)
@Liquidazot

I could agree with you if the pattern was not x threaded only strait line. with X pattern there is no really meaning how you put them. Allso you never put X on X by hand they allways gona be disaligned to each other. If you realy want to build something strong. before the resine layers should be sawed with carbon fibers thread to create 3Dmentional structure not two layers glued together.Than It whould make a diffence.

Not to mention the way he joined the two halfs by stuffing a piece of cloth between then then cutting off. the only thing that would be holding them would be the epoxy he put on it. should have had a flange and a receiver flange on the other side of the part so they overlap and join that way.

Also gonna have some serious galvanic corrosion which will lead to the wing flying off sooner or later. From what I saw the aluminium was not isolated from the carbon which is a no no ^^
@spyketan72
@@aeywyn5230 ; should have placed a strip of glass fiber where the aluminum sits, that would be enough isolation. So much work, so little thought, so much filament (costly).
@oddspaghetti4287

No dude the adding 45 degree fibers would not help that much since the fibre direction with those is not in line with the force. If strength were an issue UD fibers in line with the wing would be the answer.
Awesome video mate, the key slapping had me in tears 😆
Keep up the great work 🤙🤙
how did you choose the wing airfoil profiles and what they are? awesome job man
this is the 1st time i saw people using resin and hardener, and then sand paper it and then, put the 1st layer of product part resin, and the sand paper it again, respect your hands on btw
Cool video, that wing looks very cool...
Galvanic corrosion will effect those aluminum mounts. Next time put a ply or 2 of fiberglass down. There is also an easier way to do a more consistent seam than that. Love your videos though.

Great work💪🏼💪🏼
Could you share the vacuum (pressure) you used and outer thickness for 3D printed mold? My molds are getting cracked during vacuum 😩
is baking only needed by prepreg carbonfiber? or by this with exopy too? greets
Great work as always but is it actually functional?
GOOD WORK BRO‼️❤️🔥
How do you scale the 3d spoiler project and get a similar size for life size car spoiler before you print it out? Hopely you can make other 3d setup tutorial for next your videos. Your work is truly good man
That’s so cool 🔥🔥🔥
Do you need your wear a respirator at any point? Awesome video
Fantastic. Ur very talented
pla or abs for 3 d material ? What is your advice about the occupancy rate for printing? Is the gelcoat process used for the surface of the carbon fiber or the surface of the mold? Why didn't you use wax? Tkanks
it is a great job:) could you tell me what is the weight of this wing?
I have a question for you I purchased a spoiler for a mustang GT it's about 60 in long and the post per post they're about 50 in if I want to make it to fit my E90 I can cut the plastic and add carbon fiber yes that's what I'm planning on doing just from watching your video you're very talented but I think there is a possibility that I can actually cut it and place it on my car
How do you keep from getting pinholes in your resin?
2:07 best part in the video man, it made my cry XD
why dont u use polyester paste for ur prints to leveling surface
