Great 👍 job on your explanations of weight loss tips, You’re so right. One year ago I began a lifestyle change that involved daily exercise, eating lower calorie diet in addition to intermittent fasting. The weight came off slowly 3 lbs a week, 1 or 2 lbs, but after 9 months, I had shed 50 lbs and it feels very good! At age 58, I needed to do something that worked for me and I found it! One last thing, it really helps to have a small group of fitness pals o help support your journey. Hope this helps someone else! Cheers.

    1:45 - decrease carbs
. don't need to eliminate entirely 6:00 - exercise, at least 5x a week, 30min each time
9:53 - keep insulin steady by having smaller but more frequent meals. Bob’s way - instead of 3 big meals a day, have 3 small meals plus snacks. Brad’s way - don’t go out to eat because usually you get high carb meals. Cheat meals are fine and recommended for your metabolism but only about once a week.

Thanks guys! This is a very good idea for me, along with my low carb meals (1 or 2 a day). I also cut out the little snacks to minimize the rise in insulin per 24 hour period, only eating when I'm hungry, progressively gaining ground and finding that I am able to fast 24 to 36 hours. Thanks for your time to encourage me. 😎👍🏻

Hi Suzanne, I hope you've found some success! I have gone up and down with my wait for years. (haha! But having a 20 pound abdominal tumor removed a year ago did help a lot too!) When I did Weight Watcher about 11 years ago, I lost a lot of weight just by being mindful about portions. Meaning, I stopped eating 5 donuts and only ate 1. Which is hard for some of us because of food addiction issues. I read an article once that said for some people a brownie is as addictive as a cigarette. And when I saw that, I realized that was my issue! :\ I have learned to recognize the correlations to my mental/emotional health and my food issues. Which I'm sure that most people understand, but it's something to keep in mind. These exercises are great things, but for some of us, it has more to do with unhealthy thoughts we have or toxic/abusive people in our past or present. In which case, I feel that therapy is helpful. I also believe in the power of God to help heal us. He helped to heal me of depression 9-years ago! It's been amazing to be free of that cloud, but I have to work hard by being diligent each day with such things as prayer, scriptures study, and not filling my mind with the media junk (certain kinds of movies, music, KZread, etc), and also just doing healthy things with my time-- housework, sewing, singing, drawing, biking, etc. But I still have some challenging people who are very unkind with me, and I still like to turn to food as a source of comfort! I have found that starting Invisalign to straighten my teeth has been a huge blessing for me! It is an effort to get snacks in my mouth, and I'm certainly not going to be snacking all day with them on. You might have straight teeth already, but for those who don't-- it's just a thought if you can afford them. I've lost 14 pounds so far, and it's incredible. With herniated discs in my neck and spine and several other conditions, the weight loss has helped to make my life experience much more enjoyable. I am praying that Heavenly Father will give you the motivation and endurance to gain control of your weight so that you can enjoy added opportunities in life. And I'm praying that in general you will find many things to be grateful for, even if there are some challenges. But most of all, I'm praying that you feel loved Suzanne, and that you recognize your value and place in the universe. God bless you,

Love these dudes. So genuine and positive! They speak the truth though. I'm 5'5" 27 yrs old, always had been normal weight until I changed jobs and lived across street from fast food, didn't have a physical job anymore. Was up to 167 lbs, bordering overweight . All I started doing was walking 5x a week at 30-45 min 3.5mph, varying inclines. Only ate pasta one time a week vs several times a week. Less bread. I still eat rice but BASMATI. Basmati rice vs regular is healthier! Couple vegetarian meals a week to force myself to eat more veggies...in 1 yr lost 40 lbs! Down to 127 lbs and BMI of 21.3. Didn't go crazy starving myself or anything just walking, less breads and 🍝, centering a few meals a week around veggies

That's how I stay at the same 140 all year long. Well, just a few times a years it fluctuates, but never over 143. I am 82 and a shrunken 5' 4" tall. I was fascinated by this video with the wall anchors and the equipment that you show.
