This is just what I needed. I've burned out two motors by running full throttle for too long. I've set my max power at 70% so I can't go full throttle even if I wanted to!

I was trying to do this with my DX6e and found this, it actually is a lot alike although the issues was I put it on a switch in accident lol. But now I know, thanks!

For the second part of the video, my transmitter was having the same problem, but it wasn't AS extreme as yours. Mine was at 77%. It's still a lot though. Glad you showed how to change the end points though! Thank you!

Hey Adam Why are the end points on all channels set at 100% and 100% by default? Wouldn't 0% and 100% be more sensible? Cheers Ken

You need to calibrate your esc ( turn on with the throttle up...and bring down so you don't need to mess with the throttle endpoint for your throttle to start sooner You might affect movement values to be non linear and accurate by adjusting with endpoints First part of the video was very helpful .thanks

Adam, I have a FS-I6X. I am using a nitro engine. Pertaining to endpoints in the tx, is there a feature that will allow me to setup a kill switching feature beyond any given set endpoint that is in the I6X?

Can we change output value of other channels for servo?

Hi ,Adam - thanks for the video. Unfortunately , you didn't address the issue of motor running when the throttle is switched on. I've just bought a twin edf, and cannot get the motors to stop, even taking them down to 120% - they slow, but don't actully stop? I've done the 'stick up'/ connect battery, drop the throttle arm, but to no avail, except that the motors sound in synch! Any suggestions, please?

Regarding the second part: If you decrease the lower endpoint, will you essentially have current running through the motor when the stick is at it's lowest position, but without the motor actually spinning? If that's the case it could be a short cirquit.

Hi, Marko. The ESC is used to control the power to the motor, as well as power the receiver. The ESC connects to the battery and has a BEC to power the receiver. Check out this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/amGg08OHcs_HdNY.html for a fuller explanation.

RCwithAdam Great ! .... Have you seen that little $10 dollar device from Banggood : the iRangeX iRX6 Multiprotocol TX Module for Flysky FS-i6 i6x Transmitter , that lets you bind with many toy drones like Syma and Hubson ? Seems like a good add on for Flysky users . Cheers !

Hi, I love my FS-i6X I have a problem with flying with Nitro power... MY problem is the main Throttle trim on the front of the transmitter For some reason will not move a SERVO ( try it yourself) I think it has something to do with speed controllers verses a SERVO hooked into channel 3 .... All the other trims will move servos just fine but NOT channel 3 there is no info in the user guide... and I have a different FLYSKY transmitter too (FS-ST8) which the same problem exists... Any ideas for me... Robbie

What if my throttle's in the middle position for neutral, but I want it traditionally lowered all the way down for neutral? I have reverse there now.

Is there a way to set the throttle so that below mid throttle the motor will run in reverse? I’m trying to use this transmitter for an rc crawler so I’ve got to have a reverse on the throttle.

Use a reversing motor controller, common for model boats.

Adam , I believe the NX3 and NX3 EVO may do the Job......but ur the expert buddy

there is so much delay in my throttle response that i crashed my machine twice because of uneven throttle it just shoots up suddenly and then gets to zero in the same manner the motor output is not at all balanced what should i do to avoid a third crash?

Hi! what electronics are you using? It could be a "brown out" where the motor and other electronics draw too much current away from the receiver.

Hey Adam I'm having similar issue with an i6x a flite test 25 amp esc the nano goblin 4000 kv motor on 3 s worked perfectly with the radio link t8s but I lost the rx in an unfortunate electronics ejection stuck the flysky rx in brand new 3 of them to be exact and all of them go wompus at full throttle

But still facing a lot of issue rest of it.
