Thanks mate, I've visited Fiji a few times. Cool place. You have problems with rusty crv's over there?

@@jdmnuggets This was my old man's car handed to me and we've had it for 15 years now. Had to do full body work twice due to major rust issues and on it's 3rd B20B engine. Last body work and engine swap was in 2016 and by the looks of its current conditions the car needs another body work and engine soon! Old man didn't look after her properly so now I've gotten the car early this year I have some major jobs to be done on this RD1. Everything that your doing on your RD1 is what I've been fantasising to do on mine but here in Fiji is very difficult to get JDM parts shipped over. Watching your videos is like watching a dream! Nope, good spotting though! a few of the bolts for the lower arm are still loose. I left them loose on purpose, i drove it on my driveway not the open road to settle the shocks and springs i will tighten them now that everything is settled.

Found this in the rd1 fb group - Keep the content coming man! I'm considering a modest lift for my rd1 but don't know much about lifts. Does this kind of lift require a subframe drop or any additional work other than installation?

Thanks man, no it doesn't thats why i went with this option. Will allow for more tyre/wheels choice but should retain oem alignment.

Hi and thank you for sharing this. Now that the spring lift has been on the car for a while, do you still reckon the spring lift you used is good without any changes to the subframe? Have you guys had any issues? I’m looking to lift all round a bit for clearance ideally without making any changes to subframe etc. I’m Aus based. Needing to change shocks so would be good to tackle at the same time potentially.

Yeah mate its all good. Allingment was fine. The only thing it does thats negative is it brings the rear wheels forward a little in the wheel arch.
