Thank you for leaving it better than you found it. Safe travels!
You certainly got lucky! Highlights the merits of a trip plan left with a responsible person, and sat comms. I've done tons of 4x4ing, but softroading in crossovers with good road manners and fuel mileage is growing on me. We run a 4th gen RAV4 with a RTT. Just some Wildpeak trails, a couple lights and some gear. Can do a fair bit of exploring! Did the Yukon Territory this summer with the wife and two cats for three weeks from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She's already suggested a small lift and skidplates! Four wheeling on crazy technical terrain always got her anxious, but the easier "exploring" is right up her alley. Everyone's happy! Take care.
Can't believe a crv can do that! That is awesome. Glad you got out. Thanks for picking up trash.
Duudde!! You are sooo freaking lucky. You had tools and that it didn't seize up on you. So glad for you that it started. Great adventure.
Omg… he is fantastic… with the CRV
TY for the content brother! i have a 2006crv and plan on fixing it up and doing similar exploring ! go CRV! i saw your other vids ima going to research the same suspension system

What's your mileage at? I'm about to hit 200XXX thinking of lifting. @@TheDigitalNomadX

@@WebsterGroves09 nice, the lift is pretty easy to install and gives a decent ride. I average about 18-19mpg using the ironman at2 tires. when i had bfg ko2s i got about 17mpg cause they were pretty heavy.
The power of dream.,❤
What are your comments about cooper tires?
How well does the ac function with the winch and rigid lights in front of the condenser?

It functions good. I have the upgraded clutch ac unit , and I've added extra vents , and cut outs in the bumper for more airflow. I did add hood risers on the back of the hood so the engine can release more heat than normal.
What is the brand of tires on the vehicle?
@TheDigitalNomadX

currently 30" ironman at2s. I use to have bfg ko2s but they were just to heavy and with these being RTawd I felt they were just to much tire for the crv.
Where do I order that winch
@TheDigitalNomadX

It's from Amazon. It's a 4500lb atv winch with synthetic rope. Since the crv is only like 2800 lbs, it does the job pretty good.
what mods do you have done?

1.5" lift spaces , bilstein struts w/kyb springs , skid plates , mishimoto thermostat to keep engine cool , trans cooler , hidden metal bumper with winch , 235 75 15s , and the inside is setup for overlanding with alot of recovery gear. This thing goes to alot of places I never thought it would go.

so sick!, i have a 2006 crv that i’m building just like this, still trying to figure out if i want to do a body lift or a suspension lift.
@TheDigitalNomadX

@@bendouglas7543 couldnt really do a body lift since it doesnt sit on a frame but i would definitely recommend staying a 2" lift if you stay under 2" you dont have to worry about the drop kits , messing up axles , and stressing the rest of the suspension. with a 1.5" you can easily fit 29s and have plenty of clearance
@bendouglas7543

@@TheDigitalNomadX sorry, not a body lift, strut spacers, assuming that’s what you have, i have 225/75 which are 29s on stock suspension with wheel spacers in the front for clearance, i was think about doing the hrg 1.5 inch lift but i also was thinking about doing the overhaul of bilstiens (4600 i think)with robinsons lifting springs but that’s be a little be more money than i think i want to spend.

@bendouglas7543 nice , I like the 1.5" spacers, I would either do kyb struts with dobinson , or bilstein struts with kyb springs. I currently run bilstein with kyb. The bilsteins are stiff already so adding a stiff spring would make for a rough ride. But by interchanging them you can get a nice ride with good stability. I think your on the right path for reliability with little to no issues when offroading
Not even a little kit installed bruh what u doing

lol what you mean.. I have a full Bilstein lift kit, extended linkages , off-road built ball joints, and sitting on 30's. i do beat the crap out of this crv tho 🤣
