him before killing the leviathan: lemme scan

Step 1: Collect Gaspods (20 to be sure) Step 2: Approach Reaper Area Step 3: Launch or place creature decoy (optional) Step 4: Once the repear nabs the decoy, paralyze the reaper by shooting it's head with stasis rifle. Step 5: While paralyzed quickly go to it's nape and QUICKLY release multiple gaspods and get away before they detonate. (Avoid the mandibles, it can still grab you. Also get as close as you can in It's nape to make sure all gasopods explode within the reapers range, don't worry it can't grab you from behind) This is pretty easy and if done correctly it will kill the reaper in less than 10 seconds. The Gaspods deals heavy damage and is extremely lethal when stacked so make sure to scram as fast as you can after releasing.

Once I fought a a leviathan with a stasis rifle and my knife. My stasis rifle was running out of battery and I was getting hopeless so I ran to lifepod and it followed me to the shallows. I got to my lifepod, came back and killed it and its dead body was resting on the coral and its almost sticking out of the water

@@connordervoncyberlifegesen8529 I did have an extra battery, but I had already used an entire battery fighting the leviathan and I was worried that it wasn't actually doing any damage, but once I got back to my lofepod I saw the way it was struggling and it may have just been because it was in the safe shallows but it gave me hope

I prefer the Prawn suit grapple/punch method. You really feel like a badass as it drags you across the ocean.

This planet has taken my dearest seamoth from me.. now im taking its most iconic creature with me.

Thanks for showing the power of those torpedos. I used them with vortex torpedos in Below Zero and didn’t realize how fast a shadow leviathan would die to it. All the people online seem to say the torpedos are useless but clearly you’ve proven them all wrong.

Players are meant to use gas & vortex torpedoes in conjunction with each other. Of course, the leviathans take more gas torpedoes to kill than normal fishes because they have higher HP.

A faster way to do this is to use the sonar of the sea moth to locate the reaper and then stasis it, you can then drop about 24 gas pods on its face and watch the magic happen. You can farm a bunch of gas pods by using a stasis rifle on a gasopod, then make it crap itself and all of the pods should appear in one clump, grab them quickly so that they dont explode and then make it so that you cant keep farming it.(since the gas will kill you) you can also use the same amount to kill a sea dragon since they both have the same amount of health. If you want to take down a ghost leviathan, you might wanna pack 15 extra gas pods in your seamoth/prawn suit since the ghosts have 3000 more health than the reapers and sea dragons. (Sorry for writing a whole essay, just trying to help)

I highly recomend using the PRAWN suit to do this, its a lot tankier so allows you to make errors and still be fine, I thought up this idea after I realized a single torpedo can do upwards of 500 damage, so I took my joyful lil seamoth filled with torpedoes and went to find a reaper, hit the initial shot with y rifle but missed my holding shot and it ate me, on my way bak it ate my seamoth as soon as it was rendered, but had it been a prawn suit it could have held out longer and only need some repairs

Seamoth gets torpedo and Shock Defense upgrade. Seamoth to Reaper. "My powers have doubled since we last met Levathian."

Damn didnt know they died by gas torps. Was abt to farm a ton of crashfish lol

I did it with out any upgrades to the seamoth but the 1st slot for torpedoes, and the MK3 depth upgrade, PLUS I did it without the stasis rifle (or whatever the freezy one is called) and still defeated it after over an hour of fighting. EXTREME boss, but very fun! I needed those Cyclops engine parts, so there was only one way to do it!

To me, it sounds like no fun to use the stasis rifle and gas torpedoes or just gas torpedoes alone. You either cheese the boss or go through an hour-long slog.

This is like a hero close to dying but then killed the enemy when really hurt in a comic or somethin

Just have shock perimeter for the seamoth, and when it grabs you activate it and you'll be free with minimal damage. Same applies to the sea truck in subnautica below zero

Or judt get the gas thingys and deplot them straight off your inventory dropping like 20 on him at once

@@BadWolfPlayer You can also toss the gas pods using a propulsion cannon so you don't get hit by your own gas. Just don't aim for the stasis orb or the pods stop before they hit the reaper.

Or just use a prawn suit propulsion cannon and acid mushrooms, Crashfish and gas pods, They deal so much collision damage that you can kill a gasopod with its own gas orb, It does not poison the gasopod but deals heavy collision on it, That i've accidentally killed a gasopod while collecting its orbs.

@@BadWolfPlayer Thats another option if you are a hardcore player though, I've used that method on my hardcore playthrough since i don't want to accidentally poison myself, But if you're im survival mode its ok to use the gas pod drop in its face method.

Question does the reaper respawn cause if so where else can you find the entrance to get the prawnsoot?

You need 20 of them, Stasis rifle it and shoot its hitbox but don't shoot it in the stasis bubble otherwise it will stop before it even hits the reaper, So just hit its neck.

Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need

It's all fun and games until you realize you're literally putting that Reaper into a gas chamber.

Statis rifle is op when it comes for leviathan class attack, it looked like it stopped time on that blue sphere it just shot

In my experience using two gasopods is faster. Setup: Stasis rifle, repulsion cannon, prawn suit (2 grapple arms, or repulsion, grapple arm), 2 raised gasopods. Let the reaper grab your prawn, and hit it 2-3 times with the repulsion cannon, and use the stasis rifle on it. Swim up to it and drop the 2 gasopods, pick them up, wait for the gas to fade, and do it again.

Bruhhhh I was playing around w console commands and spawned a reaper in the grassy plateau and now I can’t kill it

Not only fast but also cheap the torpedo launchers are a bit more expensive and the upgrade table i think is as well but it still pretty cheap since torpedos are extremely cheap and batterys for the extasi rifle are cheap aswell

I spent 20 minutes just punching the reaper with normal prawn arms. I had to repair prawn halfway through and got lucky he didn't attack during that

He is a test subject, He only did it for the sake of science and tutorials.

So I just killed a reaper and subnatica using a prawn suit. Now I realize how effective the gastropedos are. At that time I was going to use it as a backup weapon.

He is so much bigger when you are out of the vehicle

1. Stasis quickshot for initial stun when it locks onto you 2. Stasis charged shot, knife 32 times 3. Repeat step 2 another three times 4. ? 5. Profit

so....you could technically shoot your seamoth upon attack ...when Levi hits the stasis bubble and freezes, you can transfer the stasis to it, and off seamoth, as a levi stopping strat. instead of trying to shoot the head. I sure like the way you die Reaper....
