Been skating for 7 years. Recently, I've just realised that skate tricks aren't just about how we maneuver our feet. I've always learn that in order to do a certain trick, I need to pop, slide, flick , etc. Well, these tips are technically correct, but there are so much more into it than just the feet flicking the board. For example, the way we align our shoulders, head, and many more. There will always be a "secret tip" on every trick. Once you've known the "secret tip", the trick will be so much easier to land. People that can explain on how to do a trick that include that "secret tip" in their explaination are incredible. And you are one of them! I'll try using your tips next time. Cheers!

this is a great trick tip. Ive been struggling with the fall into noseslide bit and you covered it perfectly. Been trying this trick for weeks and you covered almost everything that ive been struggling with and I think its the only video that does. Another thing I'll add is going parallel tends to pop you back into noseslide sometimes

At the age of 42, when someone says to me 'when you start doing kick flip crooks on round rails' I can't help but be a little skeptical..! I'd be happy thing to get them happening on a ledge. Love your content, bro. I was implementing some of the stuff I learned today and it was really helpful.

I use that same slight angle for regular crooks. I think about 20 degree angle just helps you lock in right! It’s a go to for regular crooks for me.

well its not really a diss no one is perfect im sure I do tricks not the optimal way I just noticed his tip on kickflip krooks and when I first learned them I was confused on which way was better but like I said he is an amazing skater and knows a lot! if you watch his tip you will notice when he pops out his shoulders are twisted which would make a kickflip krook nollie flip out or heel flip out really hard so its better to kickflip straight into it so your shoulders aren't twisted at the pop out!

Thanks I watched this and then the skate hacks one and went outside and managed to start kickflipping into crooked stalls on a ledge much easier than I thought I would! Going to start rolling faster once I get them a bit more consistent. Also, I practiced kickflipping into the crook position on flat, then onto a small slab, and then my foot high ledge and it was a surprisingly easy progression.

You do know that kickflipping into any backside grind means the board is flipping toward the ledge, not away, right? Heelflip backsides grinds flip away.

Yo tip for krocks for enybody that wants it, try losening you’re front truck, or just you’re trucks a bit. Or if you already skate with kind of hard truck, losing them up will make it a bit easier to pinch and will also feel better
