How to keep the horn button in the steering wheel of your Austin Healey Sprite. Bugeye Build Ep.127

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A Frogeye's horn button is notorious for popping out of the steering wheel. The retaining clips lose their grip and sometimes the available spring loaded horn bushes are too long. Here's how I fixed it with some JB Weld and a Dremel!
Just a quick disclaimer... this may not be the "correct" way to do this job but it's how I did it with what resources I have on hand.

It is good to see you in the driver’s seat and behind the wheel. I was really looking forward to hearing the horn but you didn’t add that step in your video!

Be nice to see a decent after-market steering wheel in your pride and joy. The standard wheel is one of the most unfortunate features of these cars in my opinion. Each to their own of course and overall your restoration is looking really good

I would like to do that at some point but for now it's not in the budget.

Nice work on that wheel Ian. Did you restore the wheel on an earlier video? It looks very shiny and new!
