So when are you going to offer a glass coated or why not a glass tank option? For those who dont want to ingest stainless steel contaminated/infused distilled water...

Durastill only uses the highest quality 316 Surgical-Grade Stainless Steel for the water storage tank and it has been this way for 45 years (so it will most likely not change, but I would be happy to talk to the factory about it on your behalf). Some of our customers actually use their own custom glass water storage tank with the Durastill float valve power switch on top. This allows you to keep the system automatic. This is an possibility if you want to personalize a glass water storage option for your specific needs. Great comment about stainless steel vs glass. Thanks and have a great day!

@@RockyMountainWaterDistillers I would for sure buy a complete 100% borosilicate glass tank or a stainless steel tank which is coated with 100% borosilicate glass.

@@RockyMountainWaterDistillers doesnt matter what type stainless steel is, the distilled water will leach anyways... 100% borosilicate glass is best.

15:38 you lose all sound for a little while... How often do should one steam clean their system?

What a Rube Goldberg. For $1400, I'd expect less user fumbling to operate.

Why did you have to ruin a beautiful machine with a plastic filter?? Is there another option?

The NSF Certified Durastill Post-Carbon filter is BPA free "food grade" plastic. It is specially made for Durastill Water Distillers. There are no glass post-filter options currently on the market.

I was told by durastill there are no plastic contact points after the water is distilled. This is disappointing. Distilled water with plastic is the worst. Defeats the whole purpose

too much plastic. i'd rather buy a stainless steel water distiller that uses no plastic. I've already found the one that I want.

Durastill uses BPA free and food grade materials for the tubing and post carbon filter. Pure Water Distillers have a no plastic version of their distillers. I am happy you found a distiller that matches what you want! - thanks Brandon

I am going to make a suggestion to dramatically improve your video. Show your 'clean and sterilize' BEFORE you show the 'post filter' installation. You provide instructions for 'post filter' at 7:10 but later show 'clean and sterilize' at 34:00 minutes. It helps idiots like me that installed the plastic tubes and clamps just to have to take them all off again to do the initial steam clean.
