Great video. Another company made a video of this product but your video answers all questions they did not, and your price is a bit lower for the same product. The size of pots needed, and why you are adding salt to the water weren't addressed by the competitor. Thank you

Great job, keep up the good work, you and this company that makes that product is making the planet earth a better place, respect! Thank you for what you do, and thanks for the video.. quick question if i may, do you have any recommendations for a countertop distiller? For home use? That uses 316 stainless steel? as far as best bang for the buck?

I bet you’d sell a lot of units if you made something much smaller in diameter that could be used with metal canteens or water bottles (such as the Grayl).

One question you say put contaminated water on bottom and cool water on top,can top be dirty water or ocean water as well? Also would carbon steel or cast iron pots work?

Is this setup of 2 pots plus d-stil lite too heavy for a small rocket stove?

Idk. I want to like it. But the reviews on Amazon were not too encouraging. Issues with sealing and plastic taste. Have these issues been fixed? I really need a desalination device as all the water around me is salty.

If there are kinks in this system it seems it’d be easy to work them out. I will say that I just bought a MegaHome water distiller. It works great. But it was pricey. One thing that I really like about this emergency water distiller is that regardless of taste, or perceived taste, it is just what the verbiage says. It is an emergency water distiller. The small town that I live in on occasion sends out a boil water advisory. I live in an area that has had coal mining for over 100 years. No telling what is in the ground. I told my wife that if we bought a water distiller that I would take on the job of keeping our water supply going. And the same water issues that I have in my town are unfortunately in so many other small towns across America, as so many water treatment plants are antiquated, and there is not enough money to just fix the problem. Also, we did not want to buy bottles of drinking water because of the plastic problem we also have in this country. Also, I’m getting too old to be lifting 5 gallon drinking jugs of water. This is unfortunate in that we are not gonna have much of a choice, but to make our own drinking water if you want to know what you’re drinking and at a reasonable cost.
