I can’t downgrade to version 1.15, everytime i put the downgraded version in the folder it says something about needing acess to complete action. This is the only way i’ve seen to get past the exploding bonfire crashing the game.

Hey, I have a problem, when I move all the files in to the game folder and press dark souls 3 launcher, it just starts the normal game and the installer doesnt show up at all. Any help please?

there are files that go in the '_archthrones' folder as well as the 'game' folder. In other comments below I have listed the specific files but I'd recommend relooking at the readme.txt

I got an error message that says the archthrones/_archthrones.bdt failed with error code 0x0. It then asks to proceed anyway or retry. What could have caused this?

I downloaded the demo, copy and pasted the files into my dark souls folder, and then once I launch it the archthrones downloader thing comes up for about 3 seconds and then my game crashes. Any fixes?

I doubt it because it doesn't touch the main game files at all. To return to vanilla ds3, just move the mod files out of the 'Game' folder. In a different comment below, I have listed those files. You can also look at the files in mod .rar to see which ones they are.

Hey, I did as in the video and manual download but everytime I enter the game, I only get ¨dark souls 3¨ instead of ¨Archthrones¨. Am I doing anything wrong?

sounds like you have some files in the wrong place make sure your archthrones folder has _archthones folder and your game folder has the right files there. In other comments I have listed the files but the readme.txt should also give advice

possibly an error you have a few options. Restart your computer and try again. Check you have all the dlc files owned and installed. Try downgrading your game to 1.15.0. Lastly try seeking support with their discord at discord.com/invite/Z4W3YXFs

anyone else having trouble with the install validator? the download bar just freezes at a random percent

l am not sure. l even downloaded the Full game from Nexus, and its not working still. l think there is bigger issue now going on. Or there is just so many players wanting to try it, that their servers can not load all the request from players who want to play the game. l also have now this problem. Was able to play the game yesterday until now l won't be able even open the game anymore. As the loader just gets stuck.

I think so as long as they aren't graphics(texture) or weapon mods as that may affect files used to make the mod work.

Trying to run it on the steam deck. Cant launch the exe in destop mode. Tried with wine any ideas?

would only affect human player summons and messages. just like if you played ds3 offline

I do not think so, but you can backup save files in ds3 by copying the folder in appdata roming darksouls 3. Then, the save is in the folder with numbers for a name

No you can launch it via steam it is 100% safe and you will not recieve any online bans from fromsoft because it doesn't use their servers for online play.

It is very easy to uninstall you just move the mod files in the "Game" folder into the "archthrones" folder the files you move are: The folder "dllMods", "_archthrones.bdt", "_archthrones.bhd", "archthrones_subsystems.toml", "dinput8.dll" and "lazyLoad.ini" To then reinstall mod move these same files back into the "Game" folder I hope this helps the mod does not change any of the core game's files

I would think so. The ds3 and elden ring engines both have a lot of problems, and mods of those engines only exacerbate these problems. There is a darksouls 1 mod that is a full overhaul and it's fps drops to 20 sometimes XD

Chk other comments but you just put the manual files into the 'game' folder they do not replace anything and hit play. The readme.txt has good instructions

This was 10 times easier then downloading cinders mod

Help I downloaded the mod manually and the only thing that changed is the intro

If you have manually downloaded the game files: 1.Create a folder named "archthrones" in the "Game" folder, this is the folder the DarkSoulsIII.exe can be found. 2.Extract the contents of the "archthrones.zip" into the folder so that the when it is complete it contains a folder named "_archthrones". archthrones folder should contain folder '_archthrones' _archthrones.bdt _archthrones.bhd Game folder should have folder 'dllMods' archthones_subsystems.toml dinput8.dll lazyLoad.ini (I think this is the updater hookin) steamp_appid.txt Best of luck let me know if it works out!

SteamDeck/Linux Users: All other install instructions should work. you will need this command: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command% in the steam launch options and to select "Proton 7.0-6" under the compatibility tab (might help)

I would have no Idea but I assume this mod is designed for the steam version of the game and uses some the steam api for serverdownload hooks.

i can assure you the dlc is peak, its really the best dlc to a game i can think of. The dlc is very worth it.

I didn't have to, but some say it fixes issues. I'd give it a go without, and if you have problems, downgrade it.

Not sure where your issue is, did you get to the initial download after launching once or is this after the mod was applied. You can try using the manual version where you download the files separately and insert them into the "Game" folder yourself it might help. Only other thing I think it could be is if you do not have the ringed city and ashes of ariandel dlc installed. I have noticed from my own experience that the mod crashes a lot fails to load a lot, could be a numbers game. You can also try to verify steam files for dark souls 3 in case there is a problem there.

@@dylananderson2979 I am having the exact same issue. Watching @SliceofKris video I see that after it installs and he hits continue he gets the EULA screen. I just crash there without the EULA coming up. Restart, crashes in the same spot. I've downpatched and tried run as admin and nothing. Just get loading... then crash to desktop, no errors.

is this works on crack version of DS3 ?
