How to Install an Auxbeam 6-Gang Switch Panel

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I wanted all the switches in one place in my Land Rover Discovery, and it seems like Auxbeam has a good solution. In this video, I'll go through the unboxing, installation, and a brief review of the Auxbeam AR-600 LED Switch Panel.
Here's the link to the panel: auxbeam.com/TFR2/AR-600

This looks really simple Tyler! Great idea, I could do with this I have wires all over my engine bay 😂

I’m in a constant battle between using aftermarket solutions or trying to rig up through the OEM switches. I’ve been able to run 4 circuits for 7 aux lights on my D2 using a D1 three switch panel to replace the D2 ashtray + 1 left of steering switch, and will be adding lockers, which I hope to install in the dummy buttons to the right of steering wheel. Trying to work with the OEM wiring, as an electrical novice has been daunting though.

I admire your determination. I got my one set of lights working from a spare cruise control switch, and had planned to use another OEM switch panel in place of the ash tray, but the switch itself was really inconsistent and I gave up on that. Using all OEM switches is a pretty cool move, for sure.

Cool video mate! Have you thought about putting in a AGM for a fridge yet?

I don’t think I do enough camping to justify a fridge. At least not yet.

if you want to add spotlights but tap it on with high beam while using this how would you connect to it?

I don’t know if you could use this switch panel for that. I think you’d have to run a relay triggered by the high beam switch.

I started adding lights before the prevalence of switch pods, so i have relays as far as the eye can see 😅🤦

Admittedly, I only recently realized that these switch panel things have internal relays. Now I’m going to recommend it to everyone I see haha.

@@tfrasca142 Where I find these pods not applicable is when you want a specific action to your relay, like the headlight brights activating an aux light relay

This would fit well in non-sunroof trucks. That whole panel is blank.

Good call. I really wish mine didn't have sunroofs. I don't know about where you live, but around here SD trucks are so rare.
