Thank you for doing this video. That headlight assembly is very hard to get out and even harder to get back in. If I didn't see you force it I would have probably taken my Elantra without the headlights back to the dealer and paid for an installation. A very, very tight fit indeed! But after 'snapping' them back in, no problem whatsoever. Thanks again.

Great video and very clear explanation. I have a similar chinese made balast, one thing I did for the ballast is to unscrew the nickle plated knurled knob and fill the void with silicone sealant just to prevent moisture from entering the ballast.

+locoboof You're definitely welcome.. And thank you. May I make a suggestion? It would be beneficial to your subscribers to list the brand/model and maybe even a link to the parts that you've ordered (HID's/Relay/New Key Fob, etc). It makes it easier to find what you've successfully purchased and used in your Elantra. Just my two pennies anyway. :)

@justinnate82 -very very easy! Get the right bulb size, relay kit and you're in business. It's the same install process for all cars. As long as you can get to the headlight bulb you're golden. Make sure to get a extra bulb or two.

The Magnuson Moss act clearly states that your warranty cannot be voided by the installation of some aftermarket product on your car. For example; if you change your headlights, your dealer cannot void the warranty on your transmission. To be clear, however, your car's manufacturer will not cover and damage or mistakes you make, and/or systems affected by the installation of aftermarket products.
