Skullshots I never did anything. They cannot void your warranty because of this it doesn’t reprogram anything it only unlocks features that are already there. But if you want to be careful you can go through the menus and select return to stock. Then perform the reboot procedure. I do have a video on how to do the reboot procedure.

Skullshots I went for one or change in my 2016 and removed it. But in that car I removed it because it was plugged into the OBD2 port right under the dash. On the 2018 it’s in the trunk under the mat, so if they want to plug their scan tool in it should not affect it at all. Also if you just unplug it 98% of the features will remain only a few features require it to remain plugged in.

Yeah I hate the DRL dropwhen you turn your turn signal on and the fog light drop when you turn your high beams on. I disable those, enable SRT pages and drive modes and I love eco mode also.

Mopar Life345 it’s not a re “flash” or “program”. It simple changes settings already in the car. If you want to be careful simple remove it before services and it will leave no trace. I’ve had three oil changes done and left it in place with all settings changed with no issues.

Yes, this will work on 2015 and up to add a second OBD2 port in the trunk.

Love having all the functions. Just still not sure the steps in doing the reboot with the double-bypass. After the reboot I pull the fuse for the radio wait 10 seconds then push it back. But the radio then goes to a very basic radio. Then I cycle the power to the by-pass and the radio comes back to normal and my changes are done. Any thoughts?

dodge followed tazer and released drive modes on 18 and up. tazer isnt even needed on newest ones.

I have T/A "392". I'm thinking of getting a Diablo with a i tuner and purchasing a Jay Greene with a Fastman TB. Would this enhance the Jay Greene or would add an extra un-needed factor?

So I have a 2018 scat Charger. What is the difference with plugging it in under the dash vs the trunk? mine came with the double bypass but I’ve seen several vids with under the dash and in the trunk. Thanks man

packfan0513 no. I haven’t had any issues. If you have a 2018 they recommend disconnecting the fuse you tap into in the truck for a few minutes to reset the radio

Hey Project 392, When you installed the double bypass did you have the battery disconnected? Or was you battery still hooked up? Please let me know!

Eskimo Bob well, Going on the fact that the taser really doesn’t re-program Anything it just turns on features that are already in the car I’m going to say no. I haven’t heard of any dealership to giving anyone trouble about someone having the SRT pages on their car or any other feature the Taser unlocks.

I installed the Tazer on my 2018 Scat when I first got it as well. Have you been able to get the SRT Performance Pages to work? Mine still has the normal Scat Pack Performance Pages. I tried pulling the fuse, doing a full reboot, etc., but nothing. I know the pages work for 2017 Scats on down, but I haven’t seen anyone confirm that they work for the 2018’s.

Thaheavyone it stays the same name on the 2018’s. On the 2015 2016 stayed the same but just change the name to SRT pages.

ACE D if you have a 2018 you have to have the double bypass for the tazer to work.

No problem, if you have a 2018 check out my other videos on the tazer settings i have and how to do the reset procedure for the 2018's. It's a little different and has to be done for any setting change with the 2018's

Hey brother I have a 2020 scatpack and do I still have to unlock the pcm or does this cable does the trick ? I’m using HoTuners but i can’t write the file and hptuners are saying I have to send the pcm to be unlock for 249.00 sucks that I purchased the gateway bypass and the credits and after creating a support ticke they reply saying I have to send them the damn thing

you will still need an unlocked PCM to tune it. you will need a bypass like this one to be able to upload a tune on your unlocked PCM.

So for a 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 I can just use the under the dash plug in..? Thx .

What are the unmarry procedures? I select unmarry and it does nothing.

After selecting "unmarry" you should go to "full reboot" and select that and let it count down through the process. Then get out with the key lock the door and walk away for a few min, when you return it should be returned to stock. If you are a 2018 you need to add the step of unplugging the radio fuse to reset the radio after the full reboot. Note that when you unplug the fuse and plug it back in after a few sec it will take two key cycles to go back to normal. So i usually put the ignition in run, then turn it off and wait for the dash to go al the way off then i start it and everything is good. Hope this helps.

Yes, but a lot of the options that you would unlock are already unlocked on the 1320 anyway. But you will get light show and button reprogramming. You can visit Z automotive’s website to see exactly what it can do on that model.

Does this void warranty?

Nothing “voids” your warranty. But Some parts may cause the dealer to deny certain warranty claims. This should not do that for anything but the radio. But it is 100% reversible and they will never know you had a Tazer installed if you return the settings to stock and un installed the Tazer before bringing it in to the dealership. That being said unless they go into your trunk to see it installed they won’t even know you have it anyway. Also most dealerships won’t give you much trouble about the Tazer because it doesn’t re program anything, just unlocks things already installed in the car.

Is this is optional or a must for the tazer to work?

Agreed, the DRL drop out sucks!! I show you where the ground goes at about the 11.58 min mark in the video. just goes under the main ground strap bolt.

@@MrM4rvelous sorry. I read it as does it connect to the “bolt thingy”. You just loose and remove the 10 mm not and place the wire behind it and put a note back on and tighten it.
