    Must be nice to work on perfectly clean bikes in tip/top condition with all the proper tools and a nice garage. We all know in the real world, we are trying to get off crusty, rusty stripped bolts with improper tools. LOL

    It shorten or lengthens the wheelbase and can alter the handling characteristics. The super cross / MX mechanics do it to the race bikes. An additional adjustment option to tune the feel of the bike.

  • @rmatvmc

    @rmatvmc

    5 жыл бұрын

    You will most likely need to pry the brake pads apart and open up the bleeder valve on your caliper to let a little bit of the fluid out. If you do that carefully you shouldn't need to bleed the system. Hope that helps!
