    Hello, Is there any device of teltonica which improve the low or zero gsm signal and repeat it via indoor antenna? Can this device be used as an 4g router too? Thanks in advance

    I'm totally dissapointed with RUTX12. I'm stuck with ~60Mbps on LTE 4G+. At exactly same location 2 phones manage to get 115-150Mpbs and D-LINK DWR-2101 180-190Mpbs (disabled 5G to ensure all configurations are the same) Changed bands, antenas, location, modems, APN. Nothing helps. I have two operators and the same issue.

    Greetings. We are sorry, that you are having issues with your device. If you have the latest firmware and after various tweaks, the issue is still not resolved I would suggest sharing your configuration/test results on our Crowd Support Forum community.teltonika-networks.com/ which is more suitable to diagnose the problems than the KZread comment section.

    if max speed that ISP offers is 20mbps ,then buying LTE cat 6 router will worth ?

  • @TeltonikaNetworks

    @TeltonikaNetworks

    Жыл бұрын

    Theoretically, LTE Cat 6 allows transfer rates of up to 300 Mbps in the download and up to 50 Mbps in the upload. Having an LTE Cat 6 router will not increase your internet speed if it is limited to 20 Mbps by your internet service provider.

    @@TeltonikaNetworks my ISP is using Band 3 and 8, does Cat 6 router combine two bands and give better speed? band 3 gives me max 17Mbps and band gives 3Mbps max.

    watching this from teltonika rutx12 garbage router. spent hell lot of money to get proper lte connection. 2.6mpbs is what I'm getting. while my oneplus mobile giving 50mbps+ stable from the same service provider. worst product ever used. don't caught for nice looking outer shell and industrial wording gimmicks. these routers are ultra garbage. . only good thing it running openwrt. I will soon upload review video and speed comparison with other routers and mobile phones. Absolute waste of money

    RUTX12 is a fast LTE router selecting the fastest frequency band in my testing I managed to achieve over 200 Mbps with single modem. I think something is wrong with your setup if you are getting only 2.6 Mbps, maybe your operator limits speeds for other devices, not phones? Although mobile phones are ussually faster than routers - because they use higher LTE category modems. Additionally you should check what bands your router is using (also make sure the antennas of the router are properly attached). Contact your service provider to check wich band is the best for your location.

    @@TarantuloTV there's no limit for device type by the carrier. rutx12 sometimes giving me 16 mbps. but it's only for few mins. it so unreliable that I have to restart modem time to time for get good connection. all the other 4G devices I tested get at least 16mbps every single time and only this has issues. it cannot be issue with both modems as I tested both modems. I agree that mobiles are faster than routers but I never expect this speeds. bands are changing every time I reboot the modem. and all bands are giving me similar speeds. and I cannot find any cell locking feature for lock to certain cell tower even I found one with good lte signal.

    @@semirauthsala6001 It looks like some issue with Mobile Network provider and RUTX12. You should troubleshoot the device configuration, did you check auto apn settings are they correct? Have you checked on what band your device connects to your network provider? The problem is probably one of those two things. You can see the same device RUTX12 benchmarked with speed up to 250 Mbps with single modem and 450 Mbps dual modem - kzread.info/dash/bejne/oaypxtCIgLGWcaQ.html For troubleshotting you should do the tests on the same device (maybe it's a laptop issue?). Just create a wifi hotspot from your phone. Also idealy you would test this on exactly the same SIM card on both devices (to reject that this is not a SIM card issue).
