@@DanRichardFishing Hi Dan- would you know why my plotter when connected to my smartphone will not sync user data? It keeps giving me a error message saying my data sharing is disabled. I then switch it back to on and when it tries to sync it switches to off and I get an error message. I deleted app a couple of times and it worked one time but not sure if you have any advice on this? I have been adding waypoints to my active captain on my smartphone but can’t get it over to chart plotter. Thanks

J'ai hâte de tester et d'examiner la batterie au lithium, il y a juste quelques choses que je dois obtenir avant de pouvoir faire la vidéo. pour les sangsues autour de Montréal, elles ne sont pas faciles à trouver. Je pense que vous pourrez peut-être vous les procurer au Centre De Pêche St-André D'argenteuil. :)

great video dan super helpful! when i try and make a custom 3 way split with fishing map then traditional then clearview underneath the clearview one always come in not available what causes this?

Thanks so much! Can you give me a couple more details, I'm not quite sure what you mean. So you try and create a 3 way split and you set up the map, downvu and traditional and it gives you some kind of error?

Dan, I'm trying to help my neighbor. He's 87 and frustrated, we had this set up one time with Garmin tech support and somehow he lost it. He's using a Garmin echomap plus 64cv and would like the little position box with lat/lon displayed when using full page sonar. The only overlay setting I can find is from the combo setting and the choices are auto/off

Thanks Dan. In regards to my echomap I cannot move the crosshairs/from the screen? When setting my gain the settings go back to default when I turn the unit off. Any help on both questions would be great. Thanks

Question: Have a Echomap Ultra 126sv - In Overlaps in LivScope I have selected time 00.00.00 is there anyway to eliminate the seconds and just have hour & minutes 00.00.

Is their a way to reset to factory setting. My depth finder keeps flashing and does not read the depth. And my shading does not work either. Updated the Garmin but nothing fixed it. Thanks for this tid bit. I like to the full screen better.

How do I get overlays onscreen when not using combo ? Example: when using just chart view.

Hey Dan, how do you add GPS grid lines to my echomap 93 sv uhd ?

Can you display the overlay on the the side if you want to using just the chart? I would like to see depth while in charts when traveling. I have a 94sv uhd.

Absolutely Mike, it's a similar process: When viewing the chart, tap on Menu > Edit Overlays > Overlay Numbers and that will enable it. Then tap on Edit Layout at the top right (it will be set to Layout 1) and tap the down arrow on the bottom right twice to show layout 3, which is the side menu. Now you need to add depth to the side menu, so tap one of the side menu items you don't need, such as Economy, and you will then see a menu of all the options you can have. Tap on Water > Depth and that adds depth to the menu. Tap Done, and then Back twice and you're back at your chart with the side overlay enabled :) Let me know if you have any issues!

Nice..I have big problem with my new uhd2 92sv,becouse wen start I have on display just maps,,wen I push settings..al is small in right side on display not like yours all big in display.i tray too setup in demimonde because is not minted transducer ,because I am in office not in water..but not work too me..if is possible too help.Thanks

Is this the same for the uhd2 units?

What maps did you get, the world basemap? if so, you'll need to purchase a lake map pack. You can select the one you want for the area you're fishing at lakes.garmin.com/ Hope that helps :)

I think I need to make a video about this, I get asked a lot! I just use a small 12v battery for an alarm system you can get off Amazon for $20, a spare power cable I keep in my office and when I want to use a unit in my office, I just remove the section of RAM mount that is connected to the cradle and bring it up to the office :)
