    How do you like the livescope part of this system? I found this unit on sale with a livescope bundle and was going to buy it tomorrow but the livscope screen he just showed really looks like crap. The livescope screen he just showed looked like the old round flasher type screens from the 70's If that's the way it's going to look then I'm not buying this one. Maybe that's the difference between the LVS32 and the LVS34 that's 500.00 more.

    @@nautihookerwatersports Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. In order to create in unit dock-to-dock auto routing you need to add G3 Vision cartography which is a separate purchase. Its simple to use. You insert the chart card, set the chart plotter up with your draft and overhead clearance and it will then create safe auto route for you just by picking the spot you want to end up at on the screen. Check out our video on these chart cards and see all the extra features they offer along with auto routing.

    I’d like to see an aluminum tilt mounting bracket versus the plastic. Do you know if Garmin has an option for purchasing aluminum brackets?

  • @AquaLifestyle

    @AquaLifestyle

    3 жыл бұрын

    I believe at this point Garmin does not offer a metal (stainless steel) bracket for their UHD transom transducers. But they may come out with one in the near future. They offered stainless mounts for some of their previous all in one transom transducers after only initially offering plastic versions. That said, the new UHD transducers being smaller, shorter and lighter transducers put less strain on the plastic mount which is already stronger than older plastic mounts because of the thicker more robust molding,

    Hi and thanks for the great question. I copied the instructions below from the manual. It works for all screens and needs to be done for each screen as they each have their own data boxes. 1 Select an option based on the type of screen you are viewing: • From a full screen view, select MENU > Edit Overlays. • From a combination screen, select MENU > Configure Combination > Edit Overlays. TIP: To quickly change the data shown in an overlay box, hold the overlay box. 2 Select an item to customize the data and data bar: • To change the data shown in an overlay box, select the overlay box, select the new data to show, and select BACK. • To select the location and layout of the data overlay bar, select Edit Layout, and select an option. • To customize the information shown when navigating, select Navigation, and select an option. • To turn on other data bars, like the media controls, select Top Bar or Bottom Bar, and select the necessary options. 3 SelectDone.

  • @AquaLifestyle

    Maximum depth depends on several variables including settings, water conditions, salt or fresh water etc. I have found that with the included transducer the traditional sounder should give decent resolution to about 600-800 feet with max depth a bit more than that, The down scan should give good resolution up to around 60-100 feet.

  • @AquaLifestyle

    @AquaLifestyle

    3 жыл бұрын

    You can have your Pantopix module and another transducer (like the all in one that comes with many Echomap units including down imaging) plugged into the unit at the same time. The Pantopix would plug into the ethernet looking port in the back and down imaging transducer into the transducer port. You can then run them either on separate screens or together as a split screen. So long as the transducers are not running at the same frequencies they will not interfere with one another.

    The newest generation of Echomap are the Echomap Ultra in 10"" and 12" models and Echomap UHD2 models in 6",7", 9" SV models and 5" and 7" CV models. With certain transducers set to the low frequency, you will be able to get good readings in 400-700 feet in saltwater, even though 700 feet is close to the outer limits of good resolution. Again, it really depends on the transducer and frequencies used.

This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens kzread.infoUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps.
