SUMMARY:
--------------------
If you handle your money in the right way, you can have more, give more, and enjoy your life more.
Here's what you can do to start taking control of your money now:
1. Revisit your story about money. Where we come from and what we hear about money unconsciously shapes our lives. If you think rich people are negative or that having money is bad, you won’t attain wealth because you don’t want to be negative or bad. If wealth is something that brings you more happiness, joy, and service, you'll want to make more of it. So, first, redefine what wealth means to YOU!
2. Make sure you automatically invest. When get a check from your employer, have some of the funds automatically go into your savings account or investment account. This way you won't forget and you won't spend the money unnecessarily. Automatically investing mean your money will be earning money for you and working for you.
3. Ask the question, “How can I add more value in the time in which I serve?” Squeeze in more value. Hustle a little bit more. Serve even more. Adding more value to people in the same amount of time makes you more productive, gets you more recognition, and gives you more opportunities. There's no traffic beyond the extra mile! Just add a little more than anyone else is doing, and you'll be in a category of one.
4. Raise your standards for a reward! If you’re a High Performer and really adding value but you're still not being rewarded for your true contribution, raise your minimum of what you will allow in your life. Be bold, push the boundaries, and you will be rewarded.
When you follow these simple steps for handling your money, you will have a positive story about wealth, your money will be earning money for you, you will be adding more value, you will have a higher standard for yourself and you will be experiencing The Charged Life!

20 yrs ago I did exactly what you said. It really does work. I wanted to make great money and have a great Pension. Not having a college degree I knew it would be challenging but I never gave up. It took a while but I finally got in at U. P. S. 1996. Last year I made 6 figures at U. P. S! With retirement soon approaching and with all the stock I have purchased it's soon time to collect my monthly pension. $5000 and return to school anywhere in the World!

Brandon, I'm doing this in my work now!!! I just started getting DETERMINED and FOCUSED in my job (I think maybe for personal selfish reasons) but I am leaving everyone in the dust!!! People that used to be ahead of me, but were complacent, gossipy, lazy. It freaking works and it's awesome! And once the momentum is started, it's like that saying, "success breeds success". Just having that determination to succeed, and being intentional and aware and being determined to succeed, is amazing! You are so right!!!

i always thought rich people were bad, but if i ever become wealthy i want to help people rather than hoard the money to myself. I'd rather see other people be able to get what they want and need than watch as people struggle to get by.

LowResGamr we all say that!!! But wait till you have money oh wait you already do. You can start by selling the device you are using and helping people with that money. Rich people do more to help the world than anyone in this world. They have not only accomplished riches for themselves they have also been able to help others. What accomplishments have you done with your life?

Thanks so much for this!! I listen to your videos everywhere I go, and particularly if I'm having a hard day. I recently quit my job to pursue my dream of being an artist, and have nothing at the moment, and this I realise is partly due to my beliefs about money also - my whole family have negative beliefs about money and I have grown up with those beliefs - and I know if I am to succeed in the way I want I need to change them. I have a huge dream for my career and really want to get there. Brilliant advice as always!

The LOVE of money is evil, not money itself. There are too many wealthy people we see in the media who are above the law because of their position, influence and power who get away with evil - There are also wealthy people with integrity and values. It is about character not money - money is important because it is an exchange on the physical level that is used to exchange goods and services. It is better to be criticized for being rich or very well off then to be critized for being homeless or on a food line - the criticizer will critize you for either state - they judge the poor for be lazy and the rich for being lazy and selfish.
