How to go from underestimated to unstoppable | Jasmine Werner | TEDxInnsbruck

Have you ever doubted yourself or felt truly underestimated? Do you feel like you're not living up to your potential? We've all been there at some point in our lives. Sometimes we may even believe others’ rejections and underestimations about us and make it our own reality. This can affect our self-esteem and work output. The effect that others' misconceptions have on you can be your greatest downfall or the most powerful gift. Jasmine has been underestimated many times in her life, and she knows she is not alone in this experience. With radical vulnerability she will take you on the journey behind her own transformation, and how she is able to turn people's misjudgments into a catalyst for some of her biggest areas of growth and how to use these strategies to make a number of pivots in her life that allowed her to build trust and confidence in herself and her dreams! In 2019, Jasmine was running from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. 550 km, in a team, without rules. As a passionate runner, she knows that in marathon running, just like in transformation processes, it is important to empower yourself and others and to keep an eye on your goal at every step. This is the only way to create sustainable change. When she is not doing such extreme things, she works in Berlin as a Project Manager and Moderator. Jasmine is also a New Work Expert - in the happy works Podcast she takes the listeners on a journey into happy and successful ways of working. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Great talk, usually introverts are underrated because they don't satisfy certain ideas about how a successful person should be, it could be an ideal picture that no one really meets, even an extrovert

Thanks for sharing your insights on such an important topic, Jasmine: don't let others define your self-esteem, instead focus on proving dream killers wrong! 💪🏻💯🚀

Well, I underestimated myself day by day because I want to learn how to work under pressure. After all, this ability allows us to see every stress and any circumstances that come in our life as a lesson that we can earn and can apply into action.

Thx Jasmine - great talk. A situation we certainly can all relate to. Who of us has never doubted him-/herself? We all have. And so many times we actually find out, that the biggest obstacle to achieving is us. Doubting, because we let others understimate us and let them make us feel weak. Great to hear your story on this. Love it!

    1. Low self esteem - You have to show people your confidence 2. You are not given enough feedback - Feedback is CRUCIAL 3. Best performers underestimate themselves Solution People use underestimation as a fuel - Oprah Winfrey 1. Summarise by showing you understood 2. Say yes to Opportunities 3. Be Proactive - in team meetings 4. The people closest to you - NEED TO BE SUPPORTIVE 5. Hype yourself up : Positive self talk We do NOT have time for Rude people - just smile and Walk away 5.

AGREE ON MOST OF ALL * U are saying how to transform a person (civilized monkey) who act like an animal in a different animal= from predated to predator * Translated= from a chicken (under someone/survivor) into a cow (milk/hero) * Than from a cow into a predator till it become the red one (lion= corleone= church= Maria Maddalena) * And she transform u into a worm= food for chickens "How did u fall Lucifer, son of morning sunrise.. u are not hot or cold, u are just worm" This is what bees (T) do... cuz the land is sterile and to bonify it, u need a lot of shxx of cows, cuz nothing grows and need sinergy from different plants of nature
