I was against canned yams I always did mines from fresh. These days I have became a bit lazy so I came across your video and decided this would be a good way to get rid of those cans in my pantry I got from food bank. THEY WAS DELICIOUS!!!! Couldn't really tell they was canned. Now when I get a taste for yams but not looking forward to the peeling and chopping I grab me a can of yams and hook them up. Thank you!!

These came out super sweet but also buttery and just yummy! I ate them all by myself and I’m gonna make them again and see if my toddler likes them. Also gonna get a different brand of potatoes to see what I like the best. My can had some strings and other chunks in them but for the most part there were yummy. I also used H‑E‑B brand but I recall watching a video about a different brand having good size chunks a not many strings. Can’t recall which brand so I gotta test them all out. Anyways I used a stainless steel pan to cook mines in so they were more spread out and so sugar was on top of all of them for the most part and so after it cooked I let it sit in oven to stay warm and I came back and they were so dark I thought I overdid it, but when I tasted them soooooo delicious the sugar made like a crispy topping on top of the potatoes and idk If they soaked some butter up but they were just so tasty. I dang near wanted to use the left over butter to put in a roasted sweet potato. And I just might.

I grinded the following. All Spice & Clove!

Wait... so your draining and rinsing all the sugar..... and then adding way more sugar? I'm sure it tastes sweet but I don't get it. I only use canned yams in a pinch and drain all the excess liquid and add cinnamon and a tap of butter.

I use nutmeg and , allspice, and cinnamon. Never used Brown sugar I’ll try it.

I sometimes will cook up a box of instant turkey or chicken stuffing and semi mix them with a can of yams with a little brown sugar.

What did you do lol. You really can't mess it up. Just add the ingredients and put butter on top before baking
