Can juice, butter, sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla flavor, lemon flavor, simmer. 20-30 mins cook down time. Nutmeg. 5 mins.

oh these are so good. the lemon really makes a difference. I used one large forty oz. can and it didn't make much. I would use at least two forty oz. cans for four people. double that for eight people. thank you for sharing~

@@soulfoodqueennet I did try this that same night and it was excellent. I didn't follow the recipe exactly but fairly close and, while everyone really loved it, the vanilla was the true winner here. The lemon, vanilla, cinnamon. It was awesome! I look forward to making it yet again.

A gallon of milk,a loaf of bread,and a stick of butter.

Much too soupy. Need to cook the liquid down more before adding the sweet potatoes..
