HOW TO GET SIX PACK ABS...By Just Moving Your Arms!! (Secret 6 Pack Abs Exercise)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

How the Pros Get Their Six Pack Abs
athleanx.com/x/getrippedabs
People always want to know how to get six pack abs and they'll try almost every ab exercise there is in that pursuit. The problem is, unless you are including ab exercises into your workouts that are addressing ALL of the roles of the abdominal muscles then you're likely to not see the best results possible.
In this video, I show you what I call my "secret" 6 pack abs exercise. I call it my secret abs exercise because it showcases a movement that most guys and gals are overlooking in their ab workouts simply because they don't see the role of the abs completely (or haven't been told what that is!)
In order to fully engage the ab muscles you have to be sure to target their role as anti-rotators and anti-trunk lean controllers. You've probably heard the term pillar strength before when it comes to the importance of the abs and how to get a six pack. But unless you're working on this feature of ab strength in every an workout you do, you're likely not going to see the results you are capable of.
In this ab exercise, I show you how you can use either a TRX, a homemade version of a TRX using a dog leash, or even using a cable machine. What you use isn't that important, but how you do this killer core exercise is!
After trying this and seeing just how important it is to add six pack ab exercises like this in your pursuit of a 6 pack, then be sure to head over to athleanx.com to get a complete 90 day program that will take you step by step to your goal!
If you're a facebook user and find this exercise helpful, then by all means share it by pasting this link in your post • HOW TO GET SIX PACK AB...

Jeff, I'm grateful that you shared an exercise we can do with the TRX or a dog leash. You always make exercises look easy and doable when they're actually tough and mind-wrecking. I really appreciate such challenges. I did plank straight leg march, followed by plank opposite knee to elbow, and lastly plank same side knee to elbow. Then I thought that it'd be good to wrap up with this TRX core exercise cuz it looks relaxing, but lo and behold, I only managed 5 on each side!

Jeff, I used to be jacked (212 @ 9%, 5'11") when I was in the military and had time to workout 2hrs a day... Now I'm in corporate with kids, and lucky to get a 4 mile run in 2-3 times a week and 2-4 TRX sessions. I love the TRX (even though inused to clown it). Please give me more TRX! You are very knowledgeable, and it would be of great value to those of us that are time constrained. Being in Japan doesn't make it any easier with a 4 hr commute!

Nice! And very clever using a dog leash. You can do anti-rotation with tubing. I take the tubing to the gym (so I don't have to wait for the pulley systems) and anchor it to any machine/post etc about mid-chest height. I take enough steps away to the side until there is good tension. Interlace fingers and try to pull the tubing shoulder to shoulder without rotating the torso. 10-20 reps. Increse tension as you get stronger.

I like the intros to athleenx, it shows you why you clicked on the video to begin with unlike some youtube channels where you have to surf for 10 mins just to find one little piece of info. This exercise is better than any on the ground plank putting excessive strain on the lower back. Our abs were meant to be trained standing and twisting, not crunching or ground planks all the time!!!!! This video is another reason why biceps curls are so over rated, we are already squeezing the biceps in this ab exercise, not to mention rows, deadlifts, pull overs, pulldowns!!
