@@mono4818 Because Jorji forcefully gives u his passport which gives u a citation for taking it unauthorized. Similarly, if you deny Jorji, you get a Citation which says that he is clear to enter. No matter what you do, you'll always get a citation. I believe the only way to get a no-citation run is by getting yourself locked up (So getting a bad end.)

United Federation are already using computers to process entrants, so my guess is that the technology exists and is ready to be set up but they'd still rather have someone manually process them for whatever reason and just use the tech to make sure he's doing his job properly.

You get a citation with almost every token. It's not a problem, it's just how it works. You're technically letting someone inside based on their words, not documents.

Seriously, there is no such thing as mechanical for engineer in this game, right? Or I missed them?

This is why I love Papers Please. Though the people are just randomly generated computer AI, they sometimes make you feel bad and make you have some sympathy for them, knowing in the back of your head that you will get a citation for it.

This game actually helps you in the real world. I got much faster at sorting email after I played this. I missed having a decline stamp in Outlook though. That would be useful.

Haha, it's helped me at work too! My ritual of organizing my desk before I leave work to prepare for the next day, I think that partially came from me optimizing the desk space in this game.

Most people didnt get the joke. When jorji costava tries to get in with his crudely drawn, homemade passport in the beginning of the game, instead of obristan he writes cobrastan

If I recall correctly, the only way you can get a citation there is when the engineers say an incorrect reason to travel/duration of stay and you fail to notice it. Papers are still valid indeed.

Yep, this guide prioritizes events that give you the least penalties.

You can also get obristan token on day 4

Yep. The game can create extra branches in your already existing gameplay save line, so you don't have to go through all the days again in order to get to that point. Test it out by finishing one day in the middle of your current save and you'll see what I mean. :)

As far as I know, this is not possible. The amount of money you'll make is likely to be different from before so the game can't merge the two playthroughs together.

News certainly change depending on your decision towards Simon Wens, either if you: 1. helped the Vengeful Father (like in the video). 2. had Simon arrested immediately or... 3. you let him pass and didn't help the Father.
