Jomtien has additional requirements it requires all the documents you describe plus copy freedom to get married certificate from your embassy, the Thai wife's freedom to marry, the wife's name change certificate, a form from the local amphur stating the marriage is registered and currently valid and finally on the home visit they require a witness to confirm you are married plus the witness Thai ID and blue book details. And you have to produce the same documents and copies of documents every time you extend. And you can only sign your documents with a blue pen!!!

it seems that immigration offices are different. i needed 4 photos of us, outside must show house number, living room, kitchen and bedroom. we also needed her change of name certificate and the one that always leaves us wondering why, be we need a Kor Ror which is a government form saying that we are fine to get married even though we have been for 12 years. then we have to wait up to 2 months to see if we are granted the visa. all rather a pain, but you need the visa so you have to do what they want

Well done 👍 Strange how province requirements vary. I only bank statements 2 months before,no photos in bedroom 😂, photo copied only used pages in passport. Immigration filled all required forms, l just signed them 🤷🏼‍♂️. No visit either. Very pleasant experience 😊. Your video will help many 👍

You have to apply for non o visa first from your own country or if you are already in Thailand, you have to leave to the neighbor countries like Loas, the apply. Good luck.

Hi, I can do everything that you have mentioned, except the 400,000 baht. I have a pension and was told that I could transfer 40,000 baht from England to Thailand every month. If this is true, how does it work and can I use the money straight away, or, would I have to keep it in the bank for 3 months. Thanks and take care.

The 40k is proof of income and you can spend as you want, the 400k has to sit in your account for 2+ months here in a Thai account, you can bring bank statements but as far as I know they are valid for 6 or 7 days only.

a You will need a statement/single from from your embassy along with a copy of your passport all of which have to be authenticated. For the girlfriend basically every thing!

The immigration website says EITHER 400,000 baht bank balance OR minimum monthly salary of 40,000 baht. I have work permit in Thailand and employment with a salary way in excess of this minimum. I have been working with same company for almost 10 years. However, some people say the salary option is difficult. Is anyone able to shed any light on this?

hello sir, when you came to Thailand from England on a married non o visa and you knew you were going stay in Thailand did you get a return flight ticket, thanks. The thing is I've been in Thailand for 10 months now and I want to buy a flight ticket to return to the UK in May and come back in october instead of buying a tick in the UK , all the best
