I hope to move there from Jomtien when my lease expires. I like the expanse of beach behind Bangkok Hospital, and the lack of traffic or beer bars near the night market. I love the pace. I'll make around my fifth visit, this Wednesday

Glad you enjoyed Hua Hin mate and Thailand 🇹🇭 good place to live mate or holiday in for sure👍
I live in bang saray but moving to Hua Hin in September with my thai partner. When i was single it cost me about 40-50k for normal living. But i was seeing freelancers and bar girls back then which put me up around 100k. My government are stealing money from property investors so my budget will be going from around 110k a month to 80-85 so this is refreshing that a decent life can be had there for this budget. Great vid

I'll tell ya George... I'm arriving into BKK on aug 2nd. I've watched your vlogs for a bit now and thank you for showing me around town. Thinking about 1/2 pattaya and 1/2 Hua Hin. Get the feel for each place and then decide where to settle down.

Nice one mate thanks for watching glad they have helped you out. You should try a few places before settling in one area😎👍🇹🇭
Great video. I am moving there in two months. Your videos among many others have helped confirm my decision it is the right place. I have visited there 5-6 times so have a very good feel for the town. I appreciate your breakdown of the costs as well. I am definitely going to splurge on my housing as I am coming from Northern California so even luxury accomodations are extremely heap by comparison. I am fortunate to have a decent budget, but knowing how I can save money on food, groceries, transportation, etc. will help stretch every dollar.

yh the prices are inflated at market village for example but still affordable for most people. that little pizza grill you showed does great pizza btw. and for me the biggest issue is and i think always will be is the health insurance when you have pre existing and are over 70 some of the quotes I've seen are a small fortune could end up being a deal breaker for alot of people

@@georgenewmaninthailand2495 Damn I was hoping it was around Hua Hin I spent 8 weeks there checking it out before possibly moving there I was disappointed in the cycling options available
I was wondering if the farmers burning season further afield drifts down to Hua hin area significantly affecting the air quality ? or does it tend to get blown out to sea with Hua hin being on the coast ? thanks George

Hi George. Thanks for all information. I will be looking for ChaAm short time stays,..,maybe near train station..which is not near the beach and surely cheaper. From Jira youtube channel, I got that for below 1 year rent you have to do the job yourself...searching airbnb and others.

I have a friend who has lived there (Hua Hin) on 6K per month on passive income (retirement). That is how you want to do it. You can't out run inflation on a low fixed income. Make sure you are set up for financial security in the future.

Thailand went down in rankings because there's so many expats living there that are doll scummers from Great Britain Australia and the US, that now can't just afford to booze it away and chase bar girls😂 but hey Lads there's always Cambodia😂 or you can always head home and live in the government housing or witb the grandparents😮😂
