My washer uses this heating element. My old element was leaking out the bottom holes around the seals. I unscrew the caps and lift the element out of the holes and there are rubber washers but no flange on the element to sandwich the seal to the tub floor. As I tighten the caps it just pulls the element down through the hole and through the seals.
